I believe when the color evaluation is done is for pieces that are close to your face like clothing. Accessories is were you use the colors that would not match you the best. Bags don’t necessarily need to match your skin tone.

No they don’t but I do like them to go with my wardrobe. Unfortunately warm tones do not go well with my cool tone wardrobe.

Great question. I have 9 handbags in my collection. I literally use 3 but would keep 4. Mini bumbag, original bumbag, PSM, and my neverfull mm. The two speedy I own never use or the Petite Noe. I do love the alma but hardly use it. In the thick of selling my neverfull gm in DE.

I feel like people stigmatize dupes but for me, I pause on large purchases that are trendy or when I feel the overconsumption mania setting in FOR ME. (It's something I struggle with LOL! I'm easily convinced to buy things I don't wear or use. They'll literally have the tags and I'll even forget I bought something and have 2 or 3 of them in my closet.) Love this video!

I don't think you should be obsessed with what colours suit you. If you really like a shade, you should use it, no matter what some colour analysis said! I love all shades of pink but I'm sure some of them don't suit me.

The reality is: if you're rich and famous, your *preluxz* bags are seen as a sign of success. If you are just an ordinary worker working a 9-to-5 job, your real bag is likely to be considered the fruit of your efforts.

Such beautiful bags! I know exactly what you mean about the Lady Dior, my pink small one isn't used too often but it is so very special. As for the Fendi don't worry about your color palette at all, my fave color is pink and I cannot wear it but I have a lot of pink bags. That's how I get to enjoy that color.

i have like at least 35 handbags.. same as you, i have my favorites.. and i have those purchases that I don’t use a lot, but they were my dream bags.. so im keeping them 😂 but now what im doing, is letting go of some if i will purchase a new one.. so I don’t feel so guilty about it 🤣☺️🤣

I love you Melissa!!! I can relate to how you build your collection so much. I have bought bags that u wanted so bad but once I got them decided I no longer wanted. Or could see myself parting with. We are so alike in so many ways. I absolutely have bags I would never let go of no matter what. Some I could part with after little convincing and some I would give away free if I could. 😂

I went over my collection and was surprised by how many bags that was just collecting dust. I'm currently downsizeing and curating my collection. I have watched so many videoes on handbags🙈 But the best tip came from you. And that was being aware if there are any bags that are competing with each other. Simular colour, size and model. I'm keeping the ones that I love more and the competing bags gets sold. The ones that are not loved as much are not getting any attention anyway. And I'm being mindfull of not getting any bags that are basically a repeat of the bags I already own. So thank you for that advice. So helpful. 🫶 How many bags do you own ? That would be a fun video. Going through every bag and talking about each bag as they are getting counted. ☺️
