Handcrafted wooden toy wheels 

Just the video I was looking for. I use a holesaw and smooth the edges but the centres are just plain, great tip using a spade bit. I think I would use the spade bit before cutting the wheel out it would save having to hold the wheel with a pipe wrench.

Cool. Just shows you can do it with basic tools great idea. Liked the black tape bandage. Have that in my go to first aid kit too

Love it. Wheels, small knobs and other similar items, Just great. i am not a turner.

It’s easier to drill the spade bit part before you complete drilling the outside diameter while the wheels are still attached to the block of timber

Looks great and a simple set up! May I ask how the drill is mounted in the vise? Curious to know if the drill has a seperate handle like one that comes with a hammer drill!

Hi just made some wooden wheels for push toy frog. The problem is the wheel slide on smooth surfaces, I have added treat but still no good. Can you suggest a coating to give grip or other solution. I require good grip to operate the arms that lift the frogs head.
