Just the video I was looking for. I use a holesaw and smooth the edges but the centres are just plain, great tip using a spade bit. I think I would use the spade bit before cutting the wheel out it would save having to hold the wheel with a pipe wrench.
Looks great and a simple set up! May I ask how the drill is mounted in the vise? Curious to know if the drill has a seperate handle like one that comes with a hammer drill!
Hi just made some wooden wheels for push toy frog. The problem is the wheel slide on smooth surfaces, I have added treat but still no good. Can you suggest a coating to give grip or other solution. I require good grip to operate the arms that lift the frogs head.
@ericwalker606 ...or you can cut up rubber gloves fingers, heat shrink tube, air balloon, maybe car radiator hose in certain diameter and bicycle inner tube as above...
