Thanks very much for posting this. Sir Peter Jonas opens with some deep understanding of the titanic genius that was Handel. Handel not only wrote more than 30 operas, many of his oratorios are highly theatrical also. They justly get staged more recently, like the groundbreaking production of Saul (Glyndebourne, 2015).
