Caroline I've missed your lovely videos and projects soooo much! So glad you're back and that everyone is doing well :) love this box. I will definitely be trying it :)
Thanks Ashley - it is so good to be back - I've been catching up on some of your videos too, there are a few of your projects I'll be trying as well xx
Lovely to have you back on RU-vid 😊. I love your card boxes and have made several filled with handmade cards as gifts for friends. They love them too. Thanks for the inspiration!
Oh my goodness, welcome back! I've missed you so much.! The box is gorgeous as always,I certainly don't think you've lost your touch! Oh, and congratulations on the wee one as well!
Thank you, really pleased you like the project. We've a lot of Ian's in the family but Cannon isn't one we'd even thought off - thanks for the food for thought.
Great video and project! I watched it through and now I'm ready to make it! Welcome back and congratulations on your new family member as well. We had 4 girls before our son came along. My husband didn't want a "junior" so we named him after my favorite uncle, Gordon (Gordy for short). :-) Good luck with choosing a name!
Hi Caroline, I really love this card gift box and I will be making it shortly. Thanks for the tutorial. Love your boxes & cards. Regarding BOYS NAMES, I named my son Isaiah. It is unusual and hardly anyone has it. So I've liked it. Good luck with names and may you have a swift labor and delivery with no complications and may you have a healthy, lovely 🍼 baby. God be with you. 🙂
Love this Caroline, you made my day seeing you pop up on youtube this morning! Boys names...my youngest is Finlay (Fin for short) which i still would pick again as i really love it. Other names a little bit different to the norm perhaps Elijah, Rafferty, Jasper, Beau...so many lovely names out there so good luck with that :) x
Thanks so much Rachael x x Was catching up with some of your videos this morning actually :) I love Finn and was really lobbying for Finnigan but hubby isn't having it. We know so many Elijahs and Jaspers - both of which I love too. Seems like all the boys names I like are already taken :( We'll get there or else I'll declare he is called Finn right after labour when it will be tough for hubby to argue - right ;)
Baby names are something my husband and I went back and forth over as well. Our oldest is Quinlen - and happened to be the first name my husband saw and liked and I agreed to. Xander, our second, I wrote down a bunch of names I liked. My husband culled out the ones he didn't like and then we let Quinlen pick from the remaining ones so he could feel involved in everything. Now for our 3rd baby and only girl, I actually had uncommon names in mind from books I've read throughout the years. I made a list and then my husband chose which he liked. Luckily enough there was ONE we agreed on: Sairah (sy-rah). X & S are 11mos apart so Q had to agree as well as a representative for her brothers in the naming process. Both boys have double first names - the second being a combination of grandfathers (JonTery) and great-grands (JonBernard). Sairah has a combo of grandmothers names (CaMar) for her second. 😊 great to see you back making vids Caroline!! Congrats for Baby Boy!!
Your children have lovely names and I like the second names coming from their grands and greats. 11 months between X&S - wow! Sounds very intensive! It is good to be back and creating again and of course we're very excited about the new baby x x
welcome back hunni, I guess it is a little difficult to try and get to the table with a bump in the way lol 😀 what do you guys think about Windsor? That is the name of my husband's father, my husband and my middle son.🙌
Thanks Susan - getting to the table is harder and I seem to be knocking things off a lot more at the moment too. Windsor is a really nice name - only problem is that my company's HQ is in Windsor so the name is ever associated with work and the big bosses for me.
Thank you for sharing Caroline. Great gift idea which I will have to make a few. Do you a tutorial fir the cards & tags? What baby name did you decide on?
Caroline, My son's name is Rory Campbell McPhee as i thought that Rory spelt the gaelic way would be lovely since we are Scots but my husband couldn't spell the gaelic version so hence the normal Rory, so all i would say flower is good luck and just make sure what ever you call your baby make sure his father can spell it as well. :) x
I love Rory but my hubby is a huge golfer and doesn't want people to think we've named him after Rory McIllroy - which is the conclusion I am sure a lot of people would jump too!
I love your boxes. Could you demonstrate how to make a box for the MERCI chocolate. I just got out of the hospital and I would love to give the nurses a treat. Thanks in advance
