I'm sure that Wendy worked very hard to knit and/or crochet all of those cozy hats, scarves and blankets. It's a lovely gift, clearly given from the heart. I'd also like to thank Wendy' daughter for her service. 🙏🏻 I pray daily for all who are affected by war and destruction, I pray that conflict never reaches our shores and that our men and women in uniform are always covered by God's loving protection. Yes that's a nice sentiment, my first thought upon hearing of US army is about all their military incursions in Muslim countries and the general western (NATO) influences that precipitated the attack on Ukraine, also American influence in Pakistani politics, the thought of US army always makes me angry, ruins a lot of things and leaves me unable to care for them, these tribal people are simple guys, but it could even be construed as offensive asking to pray for the American military.

Just in case it hasn't dawned on you, Wendy's daughter isn't the one making strategic decisions about where her company or unit is sent or what her duties are once she gets there. That's the military industrial complex that does that, not the soldiers or volunteers who make the selfless decision to put their life on the line for a country and the people in it, who matter to them. That massive complex, btw, exists in EVERY country that has some level of military/fighting forces, whether regulated or not. This channel is about people, not about governments. So, maybe take your angry little protest elsewhere and allow the rest of us to take a small break from global issues (that we have no say in) that are thrown in our faces by the media 24/7. That's a whole lot of hours of work and are wonderful gifts to receive! The best gifts to receive. I think that the people of governments that are so hell bent on wars should have to go fight themselves also. Front lines. I bet they'd a little less enthusiastic about it. The people aren't really the problem the governments are. Most people don't want war.

Give them a dutch "schuifharing" which is a piece of buttered white bread and a delicious dutch harring on it with the tail end sticking out. When you want to bite it, you quickly pull back the harring on the bread to prevent it to be bitten off. You do that every bite and have an imaginary sensation to eat delicious new haring In the end the you take the haring by the tail and put it on a fresh new piece of buttered bread. This way you can enjoy one single herring many many times!! Yes it's true... The dutch people are in fact of Scottish origen that were expelled from Scotland due to being too thrifty 😂😂😂 I'm dutch too.. But when haring on my bread... I bite it off.... Dutch new herring really is super delicious... Here in Spain it's not available... I miss it a lot...
