I agree; this fiber artist isn’t trying to brand herself. She seems to simply share her skill and provide an experience for her viewers. I slow the speed to 75 vs normal so I can watch how she does her stitches. The music holds up somewhat at that speed. Even slower speed with volume down provides a great embroidery lesson.
Exactly my thoughts. I ve lost my patience for silly laughs, non stop ‘philosophy in a dime ‘ that some channels have here, and i dont go there anymore..
I could never use this bag; I would hang it from a beautiful & unique hook as a wall sculpture. The video was a visual meditation and the music put me into such a calming state. Bravo! 👏
Stunning - this is one of the most amazing needlework tutorials that I have seen - I was mesmerised. Without the need for spoken language I was treated to an excellent tutorial on bag making and a beautiful sampler of embroidery stitches too. Thank you Thuy for taking the time to show this. x
As a life-long crafter, I can say that there is nothing quite like the feeling I get when I complete a project and can sit back and say, "*I* made that." I would like to see handsewing, quilting, patchworking, embroidery, needlepoint, cross stitch, knitting, and crocheting, etc. taught to any child or juvenile who wanted to learn it.
THIS is why the cost of true handmades is well beyond what most people can afford and why manufactured copies supplant the livelihood of crafters. It's also why often crafters don't want to sell their work. They want to display it at home to look at forever. 😄 This is absolutely a stunning, slow-stitched piece! 🥰I'm thinking of making a decorative pillow cover.
We never wasted anything and made some gorgeous scrap quilts. On rainy cold days we sat around table talking drinking hot tea working on quilts. We shared much bonding. When we had a finished product we entered it in the State Fair of Texas Women's Exhibits Building at Fair Park in Dallas. If there was any prize money...Momma saved it too...for necessities!
How Lovely. We too make quilts from extra scrap fabric materials. We use them, it is very comfortable. Love u ❤, ur comment reminded me of my mom who never wasted anything...
You made stitches I’ve never seen before. Simply beautiful. My mom’s friend and her mother were in the hat making business back in the 40s. She made a gorgeous crazy quilt that won the state fair. I have it framed in my dining room. My granny was mesmerized by it, as there were stitches on it she had never seen before too. This is an art that is only truly respected by those who know the skill, time, love and creativity that go into making such beautiful pieces. There’s really no price that can be put on these pieces of art, that makes sense to those who don’t know the work that goes into them.
Simply stunning. Imaginative use of scrap fabric and hand embroidery put together to make a bag. Everything I like. Thank you so much for sharing. From. UK. X
Never in a million years would I have believed that you could make something so beautiful from scrap fabric. I stand amazed! ❤ Thank you for sharing your idea and your knowledge with us. What a treasure! ❤

Nể sự kiên nhẫn vô song, may, thêu bằng tay từng đường kim mũi chỉ, rất tài năng khéo, làm youtube thông minh, thích coi, để nhạc hay, không cần thuyết minh. Món đồ đáng giá nên mua.
This bag is an heirloom!! I have loads of Anchor threads and scraps of cloth. All I need to do is get myself to start something too! So inspiring! Bless you!❤
Thank you soooo much for this video. I am new to the slow stitch and keep looking for new and different stitches. This video opened my eyes. You have really widened my world
Now this is REAL quilting! No machine with bells and whistles. I love this beautiful piece of art. Just curious how many hours it took. I insured a baby’s blanket I crocheted for $300. because it took me at least 300 hours to crochet it…. Yes very intricate as is this quilt work. The memories that came back from embroidering my bell bottom jeans in the 60’s….. nice memories. Thank you for sharing. 🙏
The most beautiful quilt and embroidery work I've ever seen! No idea how many hours, days to do such a thing. Trying to imagine doing a queen size quilt like this for a bed. Might take months or even years! Thanks for sharing.
Este tipo de arte son la esencia de lo que somos. Nuestras raíces y nuestra añoranza. En un mundo tan automatizado y tan frío, volvamos atrás y recuperemos nuestro toque humano con nuestro arte genuino.
One thing I love about you is that you are very detailed in sawing anything. Thanks for all your ideas. I’m from Florida, USA I love your channel. ❤🫶🏼🧵🪡😉
I think the true artistry lies in the clever colour choices and superb needlework skills of the artist. Her eye for toning materials and hues is beautiful and she pulls the different colours together with exquisite stitchery threads. It must have taken DAYS to make this. ❤❤❤😊😊😊 what I like too is that she shows you don’t need a hoop or other equipment. Just a needle and thread. Everything can be bought at thrift shops - 75% of my supplies are.
Ànd she doesnt sell the top 50 necessities for embroidery. Just her skill which is worth more than the junk that others sell on their channel, new improved needles, frames, storage boxes and lighting. Just her skill. Amazing!
Uncountable love, care n hugs to you dear... as this work is out of the world.. Never ever seen before. All your patience, love towards every needling represents you are humble, kind n loving person.... God bless you ❤
That is without a doubt the loveliest project I have ever seen you make. It is quite extraordinary and so inspiring. I loved the video; so restful and serene. Thank you for sharing your beautiful project!
In this video you conveyed the whole idea of SACHIKO and completed it with other embroidery techniques. My mother kept an old patched kimono from my grandmother ,that I see in your work. A never-ending work. Congratulations
Stunning! Therapeutic too. You’re really gifted. And you put in so much of hard work to create these amazing stitches. Love all your videos. Thank you so much for inspiring me with hand stitching and embroidery ❤
