DVD 2 works in the arena with a group of 4 club level riders. After assessing and realigning the riders, and then doing some teaching to confirm those changes, Heather rides 2 of the horses.
Here you see Heather Blitz riding one of the attendees ponies, and talking about the issues she faces as she rides.
You can order your copy at www.marywanless.net/NOP/NopCom...
These DVDs are unique in their way of combining rider biomechanics and 'reactivity training'. Used together, these paradigms eat into the catch 22 that 'until the horse goes right the rider cannot sit right, and until the rider sits right the horse cannot go right.' The results are profound, as illustrated in the changes made by the riders' themselves, and within Heather Blitz's riding and commentry.
THe descriptions used by both Mary and Heather, the analysis of the issues presented, and the changes in the horses, present some fascinating new ways of thinking that speak for themselves.

I, unfortunately, couldn't see any footage. I could, however, listen and play with my own body to get an idea of what was being explained. I enjoyed the comparison to the mouth ulcer - the change seeming bigger than it is.

When she references 'stretching tall' when she is talking about a 'marshal artist position', she deliberately puts her shoulders back, leans back and distorts her position, this has nothing to do with riding tall...when you have to distort and exaggerate to make your point you lose credibility. Riding tall is not slouching either way or sticking your chest out, it is being light above the waist, and deep below, there is no issue with weight on your seat bones when the balance and synergy is correct. I do not agree with her perspectives or opinions.

195419771983 Well, it is your understanding of "growing tall". And you are quite lucky for this. When trainers told me "be tall", "grow tall", I did exactly what is showed on the video. I was sticking my chest out.
