I bought one on the bracelet a couple of months ago, it’s a super comfortable, really good looking watch. There is a NATO strap in the box with a signed buckle. Nice review 👍🏼

Longines have become one of my favorites. Great build, super dials that take inspiration from their archives of great designs over their history.

Longines are coming out with one excellent reissue after another. They are using their heritage catalogue very cleverly and doing similar things to Tudor at a competitive price. This watch is very well specced. I'm already checking round for discounts.

I f'n love this! Don't normally like watches with hands of two different colors, but works well here, specially with the matching orange/red tint on the bezel. Overall, the whole color layout looks super. And love the case shape and lume. My only problem is, wish it were a wee bit smaller. Maybe 41mm wide, with a L2L closer to 47mm.

Longines is doing some great unique pieces, plus their vintage catalogue is so rich. The Ultrachron and the Sector dials are my favorite. The thing that hurts Longines the most is the never-ending families and colors.

Thanks for the review. If you don't mind, maybe sneak some side profile angles earlier. I found myself jumping ahead to see what the watch looked like profile. Had to go to something like 4:30 to get an angle.

Why second hand doesn't have lume ... The high beat movement probably has less power per tick, as it has more ticks per second. Such low power would struggle to cope with overcoming the inertia of a heavier second hand, if the hand was wider and carried lume.

Great review, as always Chris! Love this watch. Love the looks, the hi-beat movement, everything except that bracelet it comes with. For the price though, a lot of great watches in the price range. I'd be really tempted to save up a little more and get a Tudor Pelagos.
