What does B&M dive coaster mean?

@@aforalfieee1225 B&M is Bolliger and Mabilliard, one of the most famous roller coasters design firms out there. A dive coaster has a straight down 1st drop with a short train and special mechanism at the top that holds you above the 1st drop, so you dangle for 2-5 seconds before it drops you down.

I am beyond pumped for this game! In rtc, I used to make all drinks free and charge $100 for the bathroom. Can wait to get that sadistic side workin again 😂

I really wanted to play this when it came out having been obsessed with RCT back in the day, buying 1-3 and all the expansions. But my computer wasn’t very compatible with Planet Coaster at the time. I’m super excited to give this a shot when it comes out for consoles. I just hope the controls are good enough. I’ll probably cover it for RU-vid as well.

I am totally impressed how they managed to get the controls onto a controller so well. Not crazy complicated like you would expect. Overall a great port. Really enjoying it.

Just started playing it. I'm usually not a fan of these "sim" type games on console, but they nailed it. Only complaint is that controlling the camera is a bit wonky at times, but that's about it. Everything else plays like butter. Great stuff.

I cannot wait for this to release on console. I loved this on my PC but my parks weren’t able to get that big without dropping to about 10-15fps. This is going to take over my life haha

Thank you! Knowing how the controls work with controller was exactly what I was looking for. A bad controls console pretty can break a game like this. Frontier should pay you a commission, you just sold me the game.

The one thing I appreciate is if you buy this game on PS4 or Xbox One you automatically get a free upgrade too next gen. Seeing I can’t get a PS5 just yet I’m playing it on PS4 but the games still available to me on PS5 with no additional charge once I get one that I appreciated cause this is the type of game you can play over and over and over again

I'm looking forward to the console coming out next month as I know the roller coaster videos I make weekly, the views should start going up quickly. Great video review on the console, I will be sticking to my PC....maybe will get the MAC version when it comes out though.

I had that problem with Cities Skylines. There was no tutorial and I had no idea what to do. The game is just like, "ok have at it!" After about an hour or so I just gave up and haven't touched it again. Will be getting PC for PS5 though. Been wanting to play this for a while.

I need to ask: Does anybody know if it's okay to pre-order on Amazon? They are still holding the placeholder date of Dec. 31 on Amazon for Planet Coaster: Console. I know it's coming November 10th, so 2 questions. Does anybody know if it will change and if I pre-order now, will it come the 10th or 31st?

I would preorder it from the planet coaster website. It is safer to guarantee that you get the game, and there are benefits from preordering it.

I couldn't agree more that planco could really use a more intuitive tutorial that explains the get mechanics without having to spend hours on r/planetcoaster.

i think i must be the only person who finds this game overcomplicated. i have this on the PC and have a few DLC but just cant get into it. I was always a fan on the orignal Theme park where the game was based about park management. I just wish Planet Coaster wasn't based so much on design etc i dont care about window positionings i just want to put rides, scenary and refreshement stations and manage the finances and staff etc
