Given how much people love the Daytona I think this is gonna be one hell of a hit for Tudor!

I live in Kiel at the Baltic Sea: This watch is the perfect tool for sailboat racing. The Black Bay Chrono has the cool technical look of a nautic instrument, plain and readable. The chronograph and tachymeter functions are not just nice-to-have, they are of course required during training and preparation. Yes, in the heat of the race the small dials are barely readable, but you do not need them when racing. What you need is a well readable seconds hand, because in the last moments before crossing the starting line exact timing is crucial. On the captains briefing the race timekeeper will ask everyone to sync their watches and counts down the seconds to the next full minute. Usually your watch and the watch of the race manager will be a few seconds off. So you start the cronograph function right on the full minute and now you have a prominent seconds hand synced to race time. Don't forget to screw down the pusher before boarding since you want your watch to be perfectly water resistant in case of splashing water, capsizing or going overboard.

I'd love to have a Tudor in my small collection! Both of these are beautiful to look at, but I lean towards the black dial on the bracelet.

15mm heights....thats one thick watch. I cant go pass 13mm. Hopefully tudor makes an in-house chronograph movement in the future.

I own the reverse panda on a bracelet for a year now and I love it. The dial is interesting but not too busy. The bracelet wears comfortable. The accuracy runs around +.5 sec a day. I would of preferred sword hands vs snowflake and ceramic bezel over aluminum but not deal breakers. Now I would like a 58! Great concise overview!

I love how you say that the pushers are fun to unscrew. And you're so right. You don't your pushers much when you wear it. But when I do use them, I would love to unscrew them. I usually time it when my client says call me in 2 hours. I currently have a Tissot automatic Chronograph on a bund strap. I love it. It's one of my favorite pieces and it was $300 (I think retail says $800) I really like it though. It may be in my top 5 of ones I own: Tied for 1st: 18k Polerouter Date Tudor Black Bay Steel 3. 18k Vacheron & Constantine 37mm ~60s Tied for 5th Tissot automatic Chronograph Ball Engineer Marvalight II

Nice looking watches, I usually find tudors to be a bit dull but these do it for me. Screw out pushers are totally unnecessary but personally I love stuff that makes me interact with a watch more, I love manual winders. I reckon these are going to be very popular.

I am actually so about these!! 41 is probably about as BIIIIIIG as I could go! But a very strong chronograph offering! The only thing I'm not crazy about is the snowflake hand. Love it on the divers, but don't think I like on this one!

Usually I'm the Dark Blue/Black kinda guy, but I have to admit the white one in this case looks really nice, especially with the black fabric strap, which I love. A great watch, maybe a bit too thick, definitely worth the price though.

Having seen the actual watches, I think Tudor has done well to boost the popularity of the Chrono line. I’m in the queue for the Panda dial.

Quick call to my AD and I was able to pick up the first one to be delivered to the store. I got the panda and it’s a stunner on the wrist. I love my heritage chrono Monte Carlo but this may be my new favorite. The finishing is amazing.

This really is a stunning watch, much more aesthetically pleasing to me than the Daytona. A ceramic bezel would be fantastic but that’s just nitpicking - I would very happily buy the white dialed version ❤️

One of the best NATO straps made and the tang is quite substantial IMO. Most nylon straps would be a downgrade. Thanks for the review.

Love this release from Tudor but can't help but notice that the red paint on the tip of the seconds hand is overflowing slightly 4:18

The Breitling Premier B01 is the most beautiful panda in my opinion. The Tudor Black Bay is nice but the outer bezel tachometers makes it too busy and as you said, the snowflakes hour hand obstructs the chrono. ... but the Breitling is too expensive vs. The Tudor

I really like the sub dials being so deep in the face like a pie pan. One criticism is the continued use of 22mm lug width.

This will be impossible to get for a few months and then there will be plenty. Looks nice. The chronometer function will be as useful as the dive function on Submariners or the helium escape valve on the Omega.

You can always just leave screw down chrono-pushers unscrewed then you don’t have to deal with that. It’s still waterproof if you don’t actually push them under water

between a Tudor and a Speedmaster at the same price the choice and quickly made: Speedmaster without thinking, but it is the method of Tudor: to arrive in the price range to directly compete with OMEGA, so that the parent company Rolex justifies stratospheric prices for a quality and a technicality less than Omega ... will understand the one who can 🤓

The new panda chrono is lovely, next purchase for sure, will look great next to my BB SnG... Can't wait to see it in person

My three complains: 1- again 15mm is too thick even for a Chrono. Same for GMT and Heritage 41 (which I own). 2 - The snowflake hour hand doesn't work on a Chrono, is too wide and cover the sub dials. 3 - Bracelet is good quality but microadjustment may be difficult and is too heavy as well. And I have a wrist of 19,5 cm....so I can wear up to 44mm without complain. BB58 for me is nice but 39 is small. Edit: I got the reverse panda, because easier to read. Excellent product, yes the snowflake hour hand is a bit annoying when covering the subdials, but at the end is ok. Same problem had Omega with the first version of Speedy with broad arrow, then changed at later stagers Nice channel happy new 2022

Love them, the changes really step it up a level. The only thing that's stopping me from getting one is the size.

lucky enough to get one from an AD in march 2021. Black dial preference. defiantly enjoying it.

I like both but the hands on the white dial seem a bit hard to read in comparison to the black dial. Overall I do still prefer the white dial version however 👍

Is the panda hard to tell the time? It looks as though the hands do not stand out much against the white dial.

Lovely watch. I couldn't help but notice a little bit of paint spillage on the red second hand. I know its tiny but at that price point I would be expecting perfection 😁 or maybe its my OCD kicking in🤣

Wish they put a third dial instead of the date there. That’d be a buy for me.

I'm still seeing so many brands doing over 14 mm thickness when under 13mm its perfect. I guess I will have to wait a lot for a nice 40 to 42 mm and max 13mm thickness. Although actually 12 mm is gold.

Interesting. Tudor's IG page said the lug to lug of the new chrono is 48mm but this video says 50mm. I had hoped it was closer to 48mm.

Really enjoyed this video. I am really thankful to see it on your wrist. I think our wrists are about the same size and we both own BB58s. I was considering one of these in the future as I don't have a regular wearing chrono, but the size is a concern for me! I think this will be too big for me too!

Although I think it’s the best watch Rolex and Tudor released this year, that’s not saying much. I think it’s priced right, $5,200 is a reasonable proposition. Looks great. Nice work Tudor. And nice work Jenni!

To be honest, this is better looking than Daytona.

Rumor has it Breitling lured some Rolex Daytona movement engineers to make the movement. Then Tudor modified it slightly to make it Tudor. I have a black and gold Chronograph. I love it!!!

Black hands and lume surrounds on the white dial would have been ace. Explorer II style.

I know the snowflake hands are a trademark of the BB line but pencil hands would've been better. A small snowflake on the end of the seconds hand would've been cool.

I'm a major rolex fan but I just ordered this chrono in the white dial from my local Tudor AD can't spend 30k on a daytona so this is next best for me personally

I bought the S&G and not I just put a deposit down for the Black Dial (which pops SO well, more so I think than the White Dial) :D

I just got into collecting watches very recently but I’m in love with these Tudors. When are these expected to hit a store like Mayors?

Could be the next chrono to have, 4800€ for an enhanced B01 when Navitimer & Heritage Chrono start at 7000€+. Omega Speedmaster Racing panda dial is 9500€ and Zenith Chronomaster Sport is 9700€ and the panda Daytona is 20000€+ on the grey market. So this is serious value for money.

Tudor watches look great. They would look even greater without the signature snowflake hand. I have a BB58 and because of that snowflake hand, one is enough for me. Still a nice release and outdoes their big brother again.

I have the old BB chrono from 2018 and like it better than these new ones: Black dial is more stealthy than panda. Steel one piece bezel is much more scratch proof than aluminium. Anyway the caliber is superb, mine is running +0.3 SPD. With the leather strap it has the perfect steampunk vibe.

Only recently I found your channel and I'm already a fan. You explain things very well and, even If I can't afford the vast majority of these watches, my soul feels replenished with the art they present.
