Outstanding headlamp. The red feature for saving your night vision is an awesome addition and the hands free ability to change settings takes it over the top. Thanks for sharing another great review. Take care.

They need to come woth a separate button for immediate red. The whole purpose of red-light is so your eyes don't have to re-adjust to the dark, but when you have to switch from white to red it defeats the purpose.

Love the hands free feature. I use my headlamp quite a lot for mechanics. Once your hands are a mess it sucks having to push buttons but at times theres not much choice. And being aluminum cleaning it would be so much easier. Thanks Charlie guess I know what I'll order at the Black Friday sale. Appreciate you giving it the review.👍🇺🇸

On my array 2, I find that the gesture control is at best unreliable and can be quite annoying. Walking my dog at night, if I pass by a tree branch it changes the intensity, if I bend down to pick up my dogs poop and the bag flaps in the breeze, it changes the light level but sometimes when I want to increase the light, waving my hand in front does nothing, no matter how slowly or quickly I wave or how close to the unit, I also find that more than a couple of minutes at max light and the unit is almost too hot to touch..

Wintah house still needs oiled canvas roof! Hurry up theyah bub, she'll be right snow full 'bout a minute. Headlamps great for under the car or basement/attic exploration.

Aluminum body can withstand the heat generated for warranty life span+. Plastic... not a chance in hell. Olight continues to produce applicable, innovative design and quality. Glad I found them few years ago as they save $ with durability. Sad to see them become a collectors target. as it reduces availability and increases cost outside OEM retail.

I have no vested interest beyond quality or durability. Olight presents both.
