Don't use salt on a screw hole that will eventually corrode the screw and cause it to let go, Use a wood pin {Toothpicks/golf tee/spoon handle/etc.} if want to use dust use saw dust and glue.
that's a good point i forgot about that one, that was a a very stupid one but among only about 3-4 not the normal 50-100% :). Ya everyone should know to use splits of scrap wood or rounded up used paper or nearly any inorganic trash really just not salt I use dried little twigs alot but never toothpicks (anymore), i'm trying to be more ecologically concious but not too ppreachy sorry if i came off that way, atleast i'm not using a fork to hang a little picture hehe (sewing needles sometimes work great for that tho) w love and respect from Canada!
It’s already bad to steal other people videos to create a click bait, the guy commenting half the time doesn’t even understand what the trick is actually for 😂
FYI: duct tape is not usually transparent and has threads embedded in it. The tape used on the door of that car looked more like clear packing tape (AKA cellophane tape).
@@konciliogasco3324 body shop here, ya that looked like packing tape to me too , and ya, it's great when customers try to fix their cars, and fuck it up, just don't put silicone anything on the car, we can't always get it off,and that sucks, it causes paint and anything else for that matter , not to stick, paint jumps rite off the pannel, it was still pretty brilliant though, i'm gonna try it
Real duct tape is adhesive backed metal like a thick tinfoil for doing duct repair work/sealing. that's why most or that (MUCH temporary/cheaper) duct tape is grey/silver. But still good catch and point, that's CLEARly packing/shipping tape ;] -with love and respect from Canada
Dear friend, at <a href="#" class="seekto" data-time="20">0:20</a> that isn't Duct Tape. That's Packaging Tape. Nevertheless, that's an amazing use of it, and Duct Tape would probably work just as well, if not even better. So thanks for the demonstration!!
I agree about it not being duct tape. Duct tape would leave a sticky residue (as would packaging tape). 12:52 is also not duct tape. It looks like electrical tape, but I could be wrong.
The music is incredibly annoying, and some of the "hacks" left me asking, "Why?" Still, enough of them were so absolutely ingenious that I'm going to take notes and begin trying them in my work life immediately. I especially liked the gear tooth repair, and the staples to fix broken plastic repair. Very cool. 👍🏻
<a href="#" class="seekto" data-time="615">10:15</a> never drill a ceiling tile from the top, you might bust out excessive tile as the hole saw goes through, drill a small pilot hole through first, then drill from the underside.
I agree. they are usually loaded with at least half useless, nonsenible or even more difficult but more complex ways of doing things but this one was nearly all pure brainiac solutions. The one where the guys used a fork to hang a picture was ugly as heck if it was drywall he could have used a sewing needle at a 56-60 degree angle those little things have quite a bit of holding power and make nearly no hole. just don't use the sure thinnest inflexible ones (unless hanging something really light. Also the guy that stuck (forever RUINING the critical factory finish on the drill bit and then wasted 3 black zapstraps making more micro-plastics including that stupid cup, just to mix 1/2 cup of epoxy/resin/activator/colour was mind dumbingly stupid. Popsicle stick or two would work just fine, i've been using a bent a peice of thicker bare wire or even part of an oldmetal coat hanger, i twist them into a spiral or like a kitchen honey utensil or whisk :) Good gomment! -respect and love from Canada ;]
<a href="#" class="seekto" data-time="179">2:59</a> increase inner diameter... is sorta true.. but it seems like an old tube was cut and the left over part is what comes out.
Wow 😮 what a great video on these genius tips and tricks ! I am not a gal with a hammer BUT this came across my algorithm and I am fascinated ! This Mcgiver attribute is something I wished my hubby has …. But no , he’s a cerebral guy ….so no to using his hands. I have to hire the handyman and they are a dying breed. Can’t find any in my town cause no one wants the small jobs. It’s sad .
In my experience, these types of videos are usually full of useless hacks that either don't work, except in rare cases, or "solve" non-problems. I was surprised by this compilation. In addition to some tricks I've used for years as a carpenter and maker, there were some I'm certain will work and can't wait to try.
I've been working on things all my life. I've been an aircraft mechanic for 35 years. I've also seen a bunch of these kinds of videos. This is the best one I've seen. I'm saving it, I'm going to watch it a bunch of times to help remember.
I'm sorry but I believe this is what we need to teach kids in schools that are days, so that they could be more independent and not dependent upon others to do stuff for them.✌
That's what moms, dads and years of experience are for. Most of these tricks are great for those doing a task once, but impractical for continual utilization.
As far as I can see, they're all being brought up with the mentality of I'll get someone in to do that. Good luck earning enough, but the main problem will be the disappearance of the someones.
That's not what the Oligarchy wants, where have you been, Switzerland?! open your eyes. wtf is summer break even for (WAS for kids to help on the farm) but these days i gaurantee you EVERY kid would rather do 7 weeks on 3 weeks off all year round then a long boring suummer vacation
I'm curious what kind of electrical circuit is involved with the the tip of twisting wire with a drill. If that is 120v or 240v, soldering it is a bad idea. A line at that voltage, if it overheats can melt the solder. A wago connector or wire nut are safer choices.
It seems to me that if a circuit is carrying so much amperage that it cause a solder connection to melt then there are more serious problems than how the wires are connected at the junction box.
As an electrician, i really don't recommend to follow any kind of idea this channel provides about electrical circuit. It's not this dude you will call when his "tricks" will broke, and you will have to pay a full time dude like me, to found the problem, and repair it, then complain about why the bill is high, when you can avoid it by not doing those "ideas".
This was a good one with lots of new tips. Hey if you can, I’d like to know what those cabinet door hinges are called. if you know i would greatly appreciate if you could let me know. Thx
@dennwahh it is on the screen top left. Lamp Monoflat Lin-X hinge. Lin-X450. There is also other names bottom left and right maybe manufacturer / distributor ? at 17.18 time in video.

Plumbing supplies, pvc pipes glued together to match configuration of your drill. Most building/Plumbing suppliers can help pick the parts by showing video or print a photo from the video.
Yeah, I was looking at that and it seemed like a bad idea. Pencil lead might be somewhat conductive, but when you try to put a couple of watts through it it's just going to light up in a different way. Congrats, your busted LED bulb just became a burned LED bulb.
<a href="#" class="seekto" data-time="916">15:16</a> Great idea. To complete it make a hole so the fire won't catch wind and so the burnt materials can go down, allowing the other logs to gently roll down
Yep! That one was instantly logged to memory. I still wouldn't do that fix unless it was an emergency. Plastic gear replacements are cheap. That is... if you can still get them. Since my career is in maintenance, I know that sometimes you just can't get the part. Usually, if I can't get the gear, I'll have one made out aluminum. That's what I do for anything that I personally own. But, that was definitely slick. Will certainly get you out of a bind in an emergency.
<a href="#" class="seekto" data-time="487">8:07</a> The wrench is not to stabilize the tool it is to indicate when your drill perfectly level, a metal washer will also do the same job.
The monoflat hinge is just what I need for an upcoming kitchen remodel. I want a cabinet that can be left open. I didn't want to use a sliding door or roll up.

@@TalkingHands308Funny thing is that real duct tape is actually metal, at least here in Canada. That tape with the reinforced strings through it is usually silver and was a cheaper TEMPORARY replacement for real adhesive backed metal duct work tape. Guess it's another 3m invention like post it notes were originally supposed to be used as bookmarks but the manager wrote his rejection note on it and sent it back and between the mgr the inner mail delivery and the R&D dept someone had a eureaka moment. Bonus: Inventor didn't even get a bonus, but that's nothing comparede to Dyson Inc. stealing and patenting all those recent engineering students ideas (not sure who thought of the sideways fan in the base BUT i KNOW it was Dyson that decided to charge $600 for it ;] - much love and respect from Canada

Increase the inner diameter of PVC?? Did you watch the same video that you narrated? He was removing the price of the old pipe from a previous connection. Making for a new piece, or T or just a repair. C'mon.........watch your. video before you comment. Yes, he did increase the inner dimeter, but that is not what was really going on. It was a repair
What is the tool called that is holding up the hose and the extension cord, please? It's at <a href="#" class="seekto" data-time="980">16:20</a> in the video. Also, where can I purchase it please?
<a href="#" class="seekto" data-time="453">7:33</a> you can get a rawl plug out of the wall by putting a rawl screw in partway and pulling the screw with a pliers or hammer 🔨

Graphite in the 'lead' of the pencil conducts electricity between the contacts of the burned-out LED, bypassing the faulty one and completing the circuit.
Love, love, love you all! Can't wait for your next video. I've actually had situations similar to some of these and had several "Brain Farts" trying to figure out how to do a job and started laughing that I got some done exactly like you showed. My husband was amazed that I could troubleshoot it before he did and got it done. His response was "Who says girls can't figure it out?" 😅😂🤪🙋♀️🥰 Keep showing your videos, Thanks😁
