bit.ly/ZLGk0G - HandyScore is a Handheld cardboard scoring device. This tool is useful if you need to make a box, make custom boxes, resize a box, make trays, bin boxes, or corners out of cardboard.
Thank you for showing me this. This is an inexpense way to make boxes to pack ordered items from the internet and send the items to customers through the mail. I mean it is inexpensive in that I don't have to buy completed boxes which cost me way more money. You are a very kind gentleman and I am so glad that I came here to learn.
I have been doing this for years on ebay. instead of buying new boxes and stuff, I just take the boxes get, take em apart, make smaller boxes out of them. Saves me a ton on shipping
I I didn't even get through the first minute of your video before I was clicking on the link to purchase your scoring tool. This is a great time and cost saver for anyone that ships custom size items, I can't wait to try it out! Thank you!
I was just browsing for making boxes, but your video actually put a smile on my face. You give out wonderful vibes! thank you for making my day little bit better :)
what a great video, thank you for showing me I do not have to buy boxes!!! You did a great job showing how to use this tool (the handy score) and am ordering one today again great video !!!
Wow, you have shared something amazing with us. At least, in my opinion a very helpful video that will help me with my shipping boxes for my crafts and cards. Thank you so much for sharing. I am subscribing.
I use a pizza cutter, have done it that way for years does exactly the same thing at a fraction of the cost :D Just make sure you have it on a foam surface when you score it.
Very nice. If you could speak a little louder next time or get a microphone for your voice. The other sounds made by you making the box are just fine. Thank you, great instructions..
Yes it is the same. It is called corrugated cardboard, you could probably get refrigerator / washing machine boxes they have to throw away at an appliance store and get it free that way.
thanks, I need one of these... now where in the heck do you get pieces of cardboard? I could just pick up old boxes at the grocery store though but imagine you have a odd shaped item or big item and need larger cardboard than what you can find for free?
Did it work? I think those wheels for sewing the teeth aren't deep enough, acting more like a rotary cutting blade and might cut through the top part of the cardboard and not perforate the cardboard correctly. I think those are more for pattern making.
Great job! I kept clicking on the "purchase" button, but it would not respond, was trying to buy through you so you would get commission for sharing this.
Uline is a rip off. Go to any factory or warehouse in your area, they will be more than happy to give you as much cardboard as you want as most of them toss tons of it. Appliance stores would be another place to look. I haven't bought cardboard for decades. REUSE is better than recycle!
The weakness of traditional box designs is that the pieces needed are always much bigger than the box you end up with which is fine for pros but amateur, ad hoc "boxers" will often find that they haven't got a sufficiently large piece of cardboard to make even a moderately sized box so resort to less than ideal methods to improvise a less than ideal box. I did once design a box making method in which boxes could be made from smaller scraps of cardboard not much bigger than each face of the box to be made - I've been meaning to write it down or make a video about it for years now.
