When a boxer gets beat this badly, even when a ref refuses to call knockdowns, making the scores even worse, no rules should allow them to be champion, Haney has become paper champ twice, def the undisputed paper champ !
You're right Mauricio, Haney vs. Garcia was an exciting, fun, professional fight to watch. Everyone thought Haney would easily win the fight. But we all know Haney lost, Garcia won! Garcia was determined with a mindframe of winning the fight, and winning he did!

Rules have to be across the board for all fighters and not break them when it’s convenient for some and not bring it up. Theres alot of people making money on behalf of the fighters and in the long run might pay the price in there later years.
Maybe Henney won three rounds he was hurt from the first round and he was looking for a one punch as well to connect to Garcia but to be honest Garcia when he let hands goes he was faster and stronger you could see it that clearly was the better fighter...

There was nothing complicated about this fight. Ryan beat the crap out of devin, the ref heavily favored the black and the judges were dirty. Mauricio is just doing damage control. It's not Ryan's job to be a role model, it's the parents job. This guy sucks

What Mauricio has done is devalue being a world champion and the wbc belt by changing/bending the rules for certain fighters.Ryan Garcia has become a boxing star without having to hold a title and now it shows that a fighter can be a star and not be a world champion something these organization do not like.maybe this win will force these organization to enforce there rules to all fighters and not the ones they want to push.
Haney is damaged after that fight, he took unnecessary damage due to his father, The Ref, and WBC. Ryan is better without the belt, he's worth more than your paper champion lol. I appreciate the rule that enables the champion to retain the title even after loss because of breaking the weight rule in the contract. I feel the weight was clearly an advantage for Ryan.
