Hello everyone, I’m so heart warmed from all your kind words and messages.. Skating has been my life since 13 years old, my passion for our sport will never end and ill never quit skating until I’m physically unable, I’m going nowhere but as a professional i cant keep up with filming sections like i used to. I wanna thank you all for the support over the years, you all push me to be my best. Now it’s time for our younger riders to run with the torch. MUCH LOVE
So long and thanks for all the fishbrains brother! What a career, super emotional intro and so much respect for such a decision. Banger of an edit too!
Incredible man. Bit emotional that. A huge loss for skating. You've produced an absolutely insane amount of mad moments. Can't believe the edits not called "UNPRO" though
End of an era😢, I grew up watching Lomax killing it in the UK and then go conquering the world..Congratulations on a fantastic career, having a highlight reel that will go down in history. One of the GOAT's of the sport. All the best in your future endeavours 🎉🫡
I am glad i got to know and witness the name and legend of Nick Lomax in my lifetime. Will continue to speak this name to my future generations along with the other legendary skaters.
Dear Nick, never got the chance to meet you but it feels like I know you in person after all these years of edits and social network clips. You definetly seem like a very fun guy with lots of humor and it was always a treat to witness your lifestyle. As for your skating, you've left a legacy like few europeans have and you can be proud of what you've accomplished, it's huge. As we say in french "it's just an au revoir", not a farewell so I will be looking for your next chapter and whatever it is, I wish you all the best !❤
Nick you’re a legend! I grew up watching you kill Bones/Manny street. It was always something special, you were doing shit that was just way beyond anyone elses skill level…was mind blowing to watch. Trust..when everyone else was dreaming of being able to ride pro, Nick was making it happen and just making it look way too easy. Used to love the stories…”he did what?! On that?!” How good he was was evident to us all. This dude comes from the golden era, that’s why his skating is so different. I remember a bail he took on Castlefields probably a good 15 years ago where he broke his wrist on the scariest, steepest chrome rail. To think you’ve kept going all this time later is crazy.
Been rocking the lomax aeon 60s last couple years, seeing some blading compilations with you got me back into skating for first time since a kid... finally pulled off a grind recently. Thanks for the inspiration man.
Legend!! ❤ thank you for all the inspiration over the years Nick, you truly are a master of the craft and the blading world was and still is blessed to have you apart of it 🙌
Being a pro is just a title, but being an inline skates rider the way you do is like having wings, no matter how old, just don't lose your wings Nick, keep smashing the streets!!
thank u for everything u have brought to aggressive rollerblading. i think its the most coolest and honorable thing to step down to give way for the new bloods! this is for the future thanks lomax!!!!
Hey, good look taking care of yourself! Thanks for the inspiration Nick! Loved that big disaster to soul down some rail popping out of the ground back in the day…looked awesome 😎
Lomax has very good style, speed, tech and the tricks and spots are varied and they are almost always dangerous. Thanks for all the videos and hammers.
Massive Respect to Lomax for all the edits and clips throughout the last 20 years and I can accept his wish to step back. But if any of the other team skaters deserve to step up to the street pro team where are their edits that could even rub shoulders with this farewell edit? Lomax will be missed massively. I'll still be following on IG and look forward to seeing what he does next.
Going out on top like the legend he is. Not many can say that especially with 20 plus yrs and with one brand. Thank you Nick, your impact is irreplaceable and cemented in blading history across all your skating disciplines. Passing the baton to the next gen and recognizing it was time... 🫡
You've been a great inspiration, motivation and influence since forever to this day and will be. A great role model and a human that someone can look up to, I do. Exited to see and follow what you'll do next. Thank you everything, so far!
Wow Nick, I guessed that this was the case last month at SkateLove. After following your career for years, I am saddened because despite what you said in the video, you are irreplaceable! I don't know any pro with more heart and personality. I hope Powerslide put you somewhere worthy. Good luck Boss man.
Sad he felt his times come to an end but what an incredible run. Literally seems like the most fun guy to be around and skills and vision for tricks/lines on another level to almost anyone imo. I hope he continues to commentate at winter clash ❤ from everyone on 8 wheels
