Hang Gliding at Ed Levin County Park

This is my very first flight from the top launch (1750 ft) at Ed Levin. Unfortunately I forgot to start the video until after I was already in the air. My landing was also embarrassing!
The telemetry overlays were created using DashWare combined with my own custom software that converts the FlyTec variometer data (IGC) to a format DashWare can work with.

...Splendid footage with the readouts! Looks like a big help for critiquing own and others' flights, e.g., "yes, I pulled in," "nope, I didn't get close to stalling too low," etc.

The data for the overlays come from a variometer - specifically I have the FlyTec 6030, which logs GPS, altitude, and true airspeed. Then to get the data on to the video I used an excellent piece of software called DashWare. I had to write my own program to convert some of the data from the FlyTec to a format that DashWare understood though.

I am! In fact, I was just out at Tres Pinos weekend before last to fly for the first time in 18 months! I've gotten all of my requirements for H3; just need to take the test :)
