A hang gliding 'Point of View' video used to test a new camera, the very portable Insta360 GO 3. The flight/video was made during a visit to an extremely friendly, active and welcoming hang gliding club in France - "Delta Club du Bar sur Loup". The site was Kennedy, which sits above the picturesque village of Bar sur Loup below the magnificent Gourdon ridge.
The club is based in a stunning part of the world and fosters a welcoming and supportive environment for everyone, from first-timers to experienced pilots. It was a pleasant winter flight in the French Riviera with gentle thermals that kept me in the air long enough to appreciate the stunning landscape from the snow-capped mountains of the Alps to the sparkling azure sea of the Mediterranean. I was surprised that the conditions were so good at this time of year but apparently this was actually not one of their better days!
The club offers tandem flights and training for those that want to become hang glider pilots. If interested in learning visit their webpage deltaclub-barsurloup.fr/
Sit back, relax, and enjoy this wintery aerial adventure and experience the magic of hang gliding. Don't forget to subscribe!
Hang Glider = Bautek Fizz
Camera = Insta360 GO 3 Action Camera
Finally a huge thank you to Don, Sean, Guilhem & Paolo from the "Delta Club du Bar sur Loup" for making this happen. The non-POV footage was shot by Don Carslaw.

Nice! We love a good ramp ;-) Didn't look to be too many landing options there Steve! What did you make of the new camera?

Nope, there is only one in that valley really and that's the official bottom landing field that I landed in. The camera is very portable and I like how you can detach it, but the image quality is lacking the GoPro slightly. I'll try 4k next time.
