The maiin gear take some rime to assemble.
There are lots of play in the joints. They recommend that you squeeze the gapes togeather but then you get metall to metall. Therefore I used O-rings at places with play. It got tight and I'm sure atleas one O-ring will break. if you can find something slightly thinner it would be even better.
I use the optional Du-Bro 6" wheels instead of the original.
For me the shaft did fitt through the holes on the Du-Bro rims but the wheel collar did bind after I assembled both halfs and the wheel wouldn't turn.
Instead I used the original rims with the bigger tires.
In order to reduce the play I used a 2mm thick washer on the long side of the shaft before I screwed the halfes together.

Almost 5 years ago I bought this Cub and was steered to a guy in Alaska that made the real main and tail bush wheels for all sizes of Cubs. A few years later when I tried to steer some friends to make the same purchase, we learned that he had just recently passed. It’s the best scale set of wheels and suspension I’ve seen. I think his wife sold the company.

I've only seen them on pictures but it sure was nice craftmanship!

It was PR Bush Wheels. After installing my wheels I really had to look at scale details of the Cub. I installed a custom tail number on it and some personal decals. I had to put a pilot in it and of course make the prop a custom variable pitch carbon job. On a single 6S 5000 I am getting over ten minutes with my Cub with mostly touch and go flying. The downside to my Cub is that I can’t fly off improved surfaces anymore and choose not to because the wheel sets are a one of. Kind. If I had to make two suggestions about my Cub build, it would be that the flaps aren’t big enough to noticeably slow the airplane down to a manageable landing speed. For this, I installed Fowler style flap hinges to create better flow over the wings during approaches - it worked. The second recommendation I’ve made to friends that have built this Cub is install washout in the wing panels if possible. None of us have done it because we’d have to unskin the wing to do it properly and create a jig. That’s a lot of work for an ARF and at that point you may as well rebuild and recut the flap and ailerons. Other than the stock gear and the wing, I love the plane. I did make some mods to my tail support wires so that over time they wouldn’t eat through the balsa. On some of the kits, the horizontal stabilizers were warped. I wanted to make mine out of carbon, but my carbon skills is not even 1.0009% of Mike Patey so I left it alone.
