Those little Mustangs are cool little planes. I had the earlier yellow tail version with Evolution 46. I sold it to one of my students after he solo'd and he loves it.
Thanks for watching Robert. Yes those little Mustangs are definitely cool little planes. I was all set to buy the first version you had with the yellow tail and then the mk2 came out with the red tail so i bought it. It came with the Evolution 46 and it flew for a few years with that engine until I decided to replace it with an OS 55AX. I have it since the Spring of 2011 and I still love flying that little Mustang.
Thanks Jeff for your kind comments. That was a few years ago now but I still have the Mustang and it still flys great. You are right, in real life it was a fast aeroplane in the theater of war and I can confirm that this model P51 can be very fast also when the throttle is opened up.

That was 9 years ago, I must check the plane as I still have it and it still flys great and I've never crashed it. I bought it brand new in the spring of 2011 and I flew it for a few years with an Evolution 46 two stroke. But that engine could have been very temperamental so I replaced it with an OS 55AX and this was the perfect powerplant for this aeroplane.
Yes I know, that was 9 years ago that video was made. I'm still flying the P51 Mustang, I have it 13 years but with a different engine. OS 55AX. Thanks for watching.
