I just got my XCub today. The outside shipping box was a little beat up but, after inspecting the contents, everything looks great. I ordered from Tower Hobby because the Xcub is sold out everywhere. I had to get my neighbor to help me carry it into my house. Looks like i'm building it in the living room. I cant get it upstairs because the box is so awkward and large. I've watched your arf videos and you have great content. It's very educational and I tend to learn something new each and every time I watch. Great job and keep up the great work!
@@JustPlaneCrazy they definitely don't get much bigger than this. Only other bigger hangar 9 builds left are the 100-222 cc cub 3X. Any plans to get one in the future? They are way too expensive for me with a 2500+ price tag.
@@JustPlaneCrazy True, if it's over 55 pounds, rc pilots would need a waiver, I believe. I'm guessing, the cubx3 falls under that catagory. Definitely, Hemples are nice planes and are much more affordable. Well, thanks for the replies!
Yes, I am like you I have zero patience. That plane is awesome. The owner at the hobby shop built 2, so I am buying the second one. Can't wait. Great day to ya.
Brenden you were lucky!! I just bought a Hangar 9 Carbon Cub 15cc and had a lot of damage to one wing, I can't believe that Horizon Hobby let them ship with the wings free to slide back and four!! I contacted the company I bought it from and they sent me a new wing and guess what!! yep that was damaged to.
I ordered a carbon 15cc from hanger 9 also and it wasn't broke but the covering was terrible. Folds that were ironed down to the point that they were nonrepairable. My landing gears were brazed at the wrong angle, soo bad that it would track to the right horribly while taxing. So I had to strip it down and reweld it back up with the correct angle. Hanger 9 is really starting to drop their quality control. I won't be buying anymore anytime soon. It's sad because I like the planes they build just comes along with too much bs. Supposed to be an arf...
Great looking plane and a good detail on what to expect, could you please tell me what length overall the model is looking forward to the next stage Thanks.
I see one online for $899.99 + tax. It has a 116" wingspan and is for 60cc engines. Is that a good price point or should I look a bit more? Thanks for the video!
