No, I had to drill the 4 mounting holes. The kit doesn't come drilled, you get a template for 3 different power options. I didn't have to add any weight to the bird, I put the ignition batt behind the fuel tank and the RX batt behind the rudder servo. Good luck on your build!

I look forward to this build even though it's a simple one. ARF's have come such a long way in the last 10 years. A lot is done for you now right out of the box. Even foamies.
