I see the obvious similarities between Function and Officer K(Ryan Gosling). They both came from something much bigger, strive to know their roots, and tend to stray from their baseline due to a difficult set of parameters to follow.
This movie is literally sat next to my TV, waiting for me to watch it. I only know the line from the movie because I recently worked on a drum n bass song with someone where that vocal element was in the break. When Walker quoted it, I had to do a rewind.
I very much enjoyed this one. I've got my function in a 12u 126hp case. Still holds it's own in a Big Box! Sad to see it go. Guess make noise needs some new utility modules! Maybe a gated slew with a hang input as well? Looking forward to seeing what's next. Big up and much respect.
thanks for another awesome video, couldnt help notice maybe its my screen but is the Function black panel darker than the other make noise black panels?
Walker, how do you do it? This patch sounds wild and chaotic. Yet at the same time, it never loses its musicality. Not even when things drift miles of their baseline, is that a Blade Runner 2049 reference? ;) Anyway, awesome stuff!
@@MAKEN0ISEMUSICI did indeed. I'd love to see you do the occasional live set. Say 15-20 minutes long. Not randomly patching, but something with a plan. Like you do in the videos, only in longer form. Not a small ask, I know. But I'm confident you could do it.
I'm here hangin’ till the video starts… Thanks for doing a series of videos on Function. She deserves it. Sad to see her go from your line-up; looking forward to see what takes her place. I'd love to see some new Make Noise utilities!!!
