I wish DQ hadn’t asked Mazi to lose 30 lbs. last season. Because of that and his shoulder injury, I don’t know how much growth he experienced last year. Hopefully, he’ll come back with not only his shoulder healed but at least somewhat stronger. And I hope Zimm tells him his job is to STOP the run. He doesn’t need to be worried about rushing the passer until he’s mastered stopping the run and I still believe in the Big Man.

When I saw they had made him lose that weight I first thought he was lucky to get out of the season without serious injury and then to see he will miss the entire offseason. Complete coaching malpractice. I hope they haven't ruined him.

The good thing for him, Zim actually uses one tech DTs. As they're supposed to be used. Zim will require him to 2 gap and plug holes and eat blocks and stop the run- exactly what he was asked to do at Michigan. We should see a nice improvement from mazi this year! He was thrust into an unfair situation. DQ with his dumbass philosophies on some things lol. Mainly: THE RUN

Nate knows! Great regular season QB vs great postseason QB. The truth is, there aren’t many good teams that you play during the regular season. A few, sure. But in the playoffs, every team is good to very good to great. Dak and the Cowboys are like 28-34 vs teams w winning records at end of season. He/they lose to teams above .500 more than they win. That’s a problem. Paying him MORE doesn’t fix that. And I understand a different QB might not beat those teams either. The difference is you aren’t paying a guy $50+ and expecting it. Pay Lance $20-25 and bring in a few more guys and see. Can’t do worse than Dak vs 49ers and Packers 1st half. Dude ain’t got it in the playoffs. Move on.
