I'm 68 and I no specialty small appliances to make life easier My hand mixer and electric knife are both gold, that tells you how old they are! I love my crock pot and use it quite often! My fridge is white and my stoves yellow, but they work so who cares! I'm the dish washer and floor sweeper! We do have a microwave and toaster oven that we use almost daily! Such is life!!!
Love soup no matter what time of year. I can still see my Mom's potato soup cooking away on the stove. Little rivers of butter running throughout and small ham chunks boiling away. Yummmmmmmmy. Those blinds will help you so much! They will definitely create different light for you when you're filming.

Why don't you make a little coffee station by the back door where the fridge was? You could hang a shelf with hooks underneath for decorative mugs, shelf for coffee stuff alongside a cute coffee sign of course!
Love the color of your cabinets. We bought our first home 2 years ago and are still adding and changing things. We just changed out the ceiling fans and added some to bedrooms. Take your time it will all come together. The blinds will help keep it cooler in the house. ❤
Amy, for the living room windows you could get the blinds that come down from the top. They also come up from the bottom, so you can still have privacy, and still have light come in.
You could totally but a really cute cabinet and have a coffee bar and put your cake platter there where the trash can is. Heck even that cabinet you already had in the living room may fit there. Then it would be more storage in the cabinet as well. But a cabinet over where the trash is and where the freezer was would be sooooo cute. And serve a great purpose. Oooooo even the cabinet there with some floating shelves on the wall there would be soooooo cute.
I see that you struggle for cabinet space in your kitchen. While watching your video I thought you know if they would put patio doors in where your two windows are you could close up the door and put more cabinets along that wall. Just a suggestion. I love my blinds. Hassel to clean but worth it to me. Love your videos 🧡

What about putting a coffee station over where you had the extra freezer when you first moved in? You could even put your toaster there. Like a breakfast station.
Just a thought put your cabinet that is is your dining room a cross from your table in your kitchen , where you had your freezer in the kitchen Put your coffee machine and toaster there so your counter will be clean

We just had Big Mac Salad last week. My kiddos loved it. I took a short cut and just used Thousand Island Dressing. Love what you’ve done with your kitchen. 😊
Amy, do your cookies get hard instead of soft like fresh baked. If so, dampen a paper towel, wrap a few cookies up in it and stick them in the microwave for about 10-15 seconds. They come out like fresh baked.
On Amazon, they have drawer inserts for coffee pods to keep them from moving around. It is so awesome to put the pods away. They also have sliders for under the Keurig so that you can have it back on the counter and when using it...you pull it forward. I have that too.
Wanted to mention a 'must see' place in Florida. I hope others have told you about the Coral Castle located 28655 S Dixie Hwy, Homestead, FL. There is a website too. This is a major achievement by a single individual for a lost love. It was a mystery how he was able to build it and move it to a new location. It is stunning, a must see in Homestead.

Hi Amy. We have those Allen & Roth shades in our home. I love them and have converted every window. That said, I thought installation was a bit of a chore as well. They look great.
Maybe you could move the white stand or other small table on side where the freezer was and make if your coffee bar. You would have room for all your coffee cups and more storage. Just a suggestion. Thanks for sharing!

You need another cabinet across from your fridge. Like the one that's beside the fridge long and that would give you additional storage for your appliances good whatever and it wouldn't take up that much room

Amy you probably already have a plan for this but have you considered making a coffee bar or baking cart with your breadmaker on it in the corner over there to the right of the kitchen windows. It would free up even more counter space...
What about maybe a little cupboard like you had at other house, for a coffee bar, maybe with some top shelves that other things could be stored on. maybe put it where the freezer was.

What about the cabinet you used to use in other house by the door that had the coffee machine cups etc, going on the wall where the other freezer had by the kitchen windows in this house? Just thinking
I was thinking the same thing, I think using that cabinet or a different one as her refreshment station again as she had it in NC was so convenient and looked great!
@amymaryon I love my toaster we use it all the time my microwave hardly ever gets used and my air fryer I don’t like so it’s in the pantry I love my food processor but it’s such a hassle to wash I only use my kitchenaid mixer on holidays

Do you have shutters in the States. We have them in our house they are pure white and wide. You only see the shutter slats all of the working are hidden in the sides. They are so easy to keep clean and keep the sun out and if you want you can open them just like a window or use them as shutters open or shut. Warning they are not cheap. Edited to say I am spending your money here but you could always make that into a patio door.

I have never seen a big mac recipe dressing that didn't call for ketchup or at least french dressing... Basically you could just use 1000 island dressing too
Hugs Amy , your over thinking it know where your trashcan is right next to it and an empty space have as coffee station made just for your coffee and it will free up some more courter space and some draws but thisx is just me here food fir thought
Hi Amy. Can I suggest something? Now you are in a hot climate, it is important to use an SPF 50+ daily on your face and neck. I know you are a sun lover but the sun causes premature ageing, hyper pigmentation and not to mention, cancer. You are such a pretty lady. Please protect your skin x
