I Love her and Blake In 1977 I lived in Anaheim California with my brother, Wow it amazes me .never got to see her but All my life I mostly listened toCountry music. Would of love To see her I so never did wow.
I would have learned to play an instrument if I could be in a band with a fantastic singer song writer like Gwen Stefani who would split the money equally !!! NOT ! NO ONE WOULD DO THAT ! But Gwen did.
Mona Lisa Shimp this is taking a ton of credit away from the massive talent of the band. They didn’t ride her coattails. They each contributed to a very unique sound
I just found out my Kid brother washer body guard in Worcester,Mass when they played at palladium on Main st The band parked then @Marriot Hotel They walked over to get the, and said she had Wood shoes on that broke and she was bit chin and hey all told her Shutup and keep walking . He said she was mad and at the End said she came over herself and tipped all the guys $100.00 a piece.I was working night so never got To hear her.I would of loved it.
I always thought he was gay. There is a clip online of him goofing around with his kids in a yard somewhere and he is running - and I swear I have never seen a straight guy run like that. It was creepy and I all I could think of was THIS GUY IS GAY.
@@christopherjoplin5169 If he were, that would mean he was just using Gwen as a front. I don't think anyone was trying to demean his orientation, just his motives and truthfulness.
@@romarina2687 I think you're mistaken in what I was saying. If Gavin was gay, then he must have used Gwen as his beard/front. Many gay men would have wives to hide. I was there at the concerts in the 90's during high school and college.
thank God we are past the MTV days. Videos are still around of course, but they are no longer a major part of song definition. Case in point.: You have a truly great artist and band, singing an awesome, mysterious, beautiful and poignant song, such as "It's My Life"..... The song is really limitless, a high flying bird, about life, love, commitment,fear.......love does all that to us. The video, sorry, made by someone who had a very specific and limited vision....
5:36 Strange how he's just chill next to her, doesn't try to steal her spotlight. Like, I'm sure the new dude is making her happy, but I get the weird feeling his alcoholism will turn violent. She jumped right into a relationship with him, without letting herself grieve properly. The weirdest feeling I get, is that years down the track, Gwen and Gavin will work it out.
@@paulao6096 Gavin actually drinks a lot, and is quite the weed enthusiast... lots of other stuff too in the past. He's been pretty open about that. In an interview from last spring he said he'd be considered a 'chronic alcoholic' to American standards. From what I've heard from people in the audience at The Voice, Blake's 'alcoholism' is more of a commercial thing than anything else. He'll get sprite poured in his cup then make vodka jokes on camera (he's a vodka brand ambassador).
Gavin had a 3 year affair with their nanny. Gwen deserved better. Blake’s wife also had an affair I believe. So I think they bonded over that. That’s why they always says they saved each other’s lives. I mean even Gwen kids adore Blake.
