Not gonna lie, I can watch those talented reining horses work all day long, but there something special about the “starting” process that (when done right) is what horsemanship is all about. Nice work Mr MIlls!

I have watched this a couple of times to reinforce the steps you showed. The awesome thing with horses as they don't just chose anyone to be their person. It is evident in how Raven listens to you that he has chosen you. I think you two will have some great adventures together.

That horse knows what he is doing and I have videos showing that we didn't just take pictures on him I told you that he just needed some work he is a smart horse if you want I can send you videos 😉

With horses it's "expect the best, prepare for the worst." ;)

He's going to be a damn good horse! You can tell he trusts you and mustangs are typically a one person horse. He chose you. He'll give you his all if he feels like you're a worthy leader, which you've proven to him you are. Nice job!!

I have spent my $125 to adopt from holding, many times. I respect your reining skills 100%!!! But starting this horse isn't like taking a blm from holding. I've done it many times.

A nice soft eye all the way through with lots of try and want to give you what you're asking. You do have a friend/buddy! So excited for you cause this is going to be an awesome journey. You probably questioned all what I shared with you before about Mustangs in general but the coolest part is with the ones like Raven. Been blessed to have those special ones and I've had the sense he is one of those... Hoping you all are feeling at home now in your new location. Name suggestion- since it’s unlucky to change a horse’s name, keep Raven but change it to its Spanish equal = El Cuervo (I think it fits him!)

Hi Matt and team, I have a weanling I got back in Sept and this is my first time raising a baby horse of mine own (I have worked at barns and dealt with all ages of horses ) Do you have or would you so a series on bring up babies, everything you can do to make them used to everything? My mom has a John Lyons book called Bringing up Baby and we have been using it, I find though watching someone do it while explaining I learn better from though. Thanks so much! I really enjoy your videos and how you approach and thoughts on things. Hope to see more videos from the new Ranch soon!!! (We all love barn updates and tours)
