The car is getting cooler every step. I'm a Ford Guy from childhood. IMO only I think it need's a engin swap. Not a 302 or 289 or even a V8 at all. A 300 6 with a split header & a 4 barrel would be so cool and would roast the whitewalls right off it. Pop on a small turbo and You have a great car for a drag & drive event. It is already something different so the straight 6 would be the icing on the cake. Ether way like watching the progress Dave. 😁👌

The arcdroid is awesome! I work at a semi truck shop in Oregon and we use it all the time! Definitely makes life easier and clean looking!

The Cooper Trendsetter SE is a good cheaper white line tire in a 15". I've used them on old trucks for a bias ply look.

The water table under the plasma torch makes a huge difference. Finnegan did a whole video on building his and the difference before and after.

Awesome video! Doing a sub and speakers is great for clarity. Especially if your making wireless calls. Havent seen an ipod in awhile. Older stuff works. Like an turbo grafx 16 or np205.

Hey Dave you’ll get those incomplete cuts with the arcdroid like you were experiencing doing the wheel spacers because your plasma torch lead is not supported. Make a pole/stand to support the tail of the torch so it doesn’t just hang down. The motors that push/pull the cables in the arcdroid are very sensitive and can’t always pull or push the added force of that plasma whip.

Wanna learn more? Your "real stainless steel paint" may still rust. Galvanic corrosion happens when dissimilar metals are touching and come in contact with an electrolyte. (Salt, acid rain, almost anything wet). Basically if stainless touches carbon steel it turns into carbon steel.

I have been buying that Stainless steel spray from Autozone, as that Steel-It spray shot up to $30+ a can. I can buy it locally when I need it for $12-13. Not sure how well it lasts, but I have gone through a half a dozen cans in the last few months. Time will tell, and inflation will likely jack the price as well.

I've seen some of their stuff on their channel. Haven't met them, but I've met the guys from Cars and Cameras. Lot's of cool stuff.

Fun Trip.

If your epoxy primer isn't curing, it's because it isn't getting hot enough. Epoxy primers, bondo and fiberglass ALL cure by heat. The two components in an epoxy generate a heat that cures the product. So, if you run into a situation where your product isn't hardening, put a heater or an infrared light on it to get it to cure (or put it in a warmer garage). It's probably the hardener that has timed out (common) so you could try using some new hardener if you haven't already pitched it. Also, it is the exposure to oxygen that eventually causes the hardener to fail. So after opening the container for the first time, every time you close it up after using it, shoot some argon or argon/CO2 from your MIG/TIG welder into the bottle. This forces out all the air out of the bottle when you close it up. The Argon will stay in the bottle because it is heavier than air (as long as you don't tip it over) so you don't have to struggle to get the cap in a hurry after filling it with gas.

Get into Fusion 360. You wont regeret it. You might even get into 3d printing to mock up parts. Lots of possibilities and you seem like someone that picks things up fast. Way easier then working on that tiny screen on the ARCDroid

The arc droid is a learning curve i almost had enough shop space to set it back up and start playing until a cj3a entered the chat. But at least i have the arc droid to make parts and brackets
