It's not the ability to take care of himself that Hank's worried about. As a parent, you swear that you'll never let anything happen to your child, who you love so unconditionally. The thing is, as a parent, letting go and realising you won't be there to protect them forever can be the hardest and scariest part. What if something happens? What if something happens and I can't be there? What if I *fail* my child?

As a parent, especially older ones, you know life can be a cold, nasty, unforgiving and cruel-natured place. That's why it's scary to know that any of that could happen when you no longer can protect them. So, next time your mother, father, or anyone who might mentor or care about you in general, gets on your case or gets too paranoid about your life, or dangers and hardships you might face, just know they're only trying to help. It might be annoying, sometimes obtrusive, but just be easy on them ok? They've seen it before, it might've even happened to them.

I once went to the coastline with my dad and sis to fish for the first time. While we didn't catch anything, we had spent a good time together, and I think that's what mattered the most, y'know?
