It still blows my mind that this has become so successful. I thought it was just another adaptation of a movie into a TV show but it has become so much more than that. Its great.
It's much better than the movie in my opinion. More nuanced characters and the way it handles Hanna's growth into adulthood (with each season representing a stage in that growth) gives that emotional touch to the show. Turning Marissa into a motherly figure was a brilliant move.
Really enjoyed seasons 2 and 3. It's obvious they didn't have time to shoot what they wanted for the finale, but man, the action sequences and performances by the cast are top notch.
I disagree seasons 1 & 2 were insane I have 2 episodes left in season 3 and im disappointed at some of the decisions that have been made. For example leaving certain characters alive makes no sense especially when you know they are coming back for you. The writers have been kind of lazy. Just my opinion
I agree with everything you said I'm watching season 3 now and I have 2 episodes left. I have to say I'm pretty let down so far season 3 has had some questionable decisions by Hanna and Marissa.
Loved this show…so glad they ended on 3 seasons while it’s at its peak and still fresh. Although wouldn’t be opposed to a season 4 or spin-off show in a couple of years. Would love seeing how hanna tries to adjust to normal life and some new threat appear
REALLY amazing series I cant believe it is only 6 episodes. The ending is fast but it really got me hard I loved it. I will miss all the characters if they dont make another season. Really great entertainment. Please make another season.
So this has become a completely different beast from the movie, hasn't it? Never watched the show, only the movie, but reading the little description I'm so surprised to see that Hanna and Marissa are working together seeing Marissa fate at the end of the movie. And I like that the show seems to have gone its own direction because I really liked Marissa, and I thought it was a shame that they couldn't have reached a different conclusion. So it's great that the series chose to explore that. Maybe I should watch this after all.
Desperately waiting for new season, every season is awesome with new sensible touch ❤️ hanna is becoming inspiration and star as well for me 😊 Kudos to prime video for giving this type of show.
Season 3 is the last season and that sucks cause I love this show they did such a good job writing it and the acting is really good especially Mireille Enos who plays Marissa Viegler I absolutely love her she was awesome in a movie called Sabotage.
Mireille Enos is the main draw for me. Marissa Wiegler's the only 'normal' character. Everyone else is either evil, insane or programmed to be a human hand-grenade. Poor Hanna 😟
@@davidmancini8286 I loved watching 'the killing'. I watched it for Mireille. Even Joel Kinnamon(Erik Keller from Hanna) is acting in it. It's based on crime so if you enjoy than genre watch it!!
Hanna season 1 deserves consideration for the extremely short list of perfect seasons of TV. Season 2 really drags in the middle by comparison, both narratively and stylistically. I really hope season 3 returns to form. The performances are stellar all around, and it would be tragic to waste them on mediocre writing.
@@davidmancini8286 Given how poorly multi-season shows tend to end up, I am glad this is going to be a shorter format. Queens' Gambit, Unorthodox, Feel Good, Dickinson, etc show that less can be more!
I loved this entire series and so upset that the 3rd season only had 6 episodes! They could’ve really had at least 8, because I wanted to see more of the trainees complete their missions & I wanted to know what happened to the other trainees since after Utrax was brought down. Like where did they go, how are they going to cope, and what are they going to do now!? Other than that it was still amazing!
I seen the first two seasons. During the second season, I was under the impression that Sandy started regretting being an evil assassin. And that Jules was full-blown evil and proud to kill innocent people. But this trailer is making it seem like Sandy stays evil while Jules wants to be good. This switcheroo is interesting, but I was honestly hoping that Sandy became good.
Same bro I didn’t know this existed till I looked at her song and it said Hannah on prime video and I looked it up and it turns out her song is in a movie lol 😂
I was sceptical about watching this but Boy…. Was I wrong Hanna fights like a pro and more importantly her moves are convincing, and a delight to watch 💥 This is sure her Zone 👍
In the late 90's we had the gorgeous Peta Wilson as La Feme Nikita ...5 seasons of a badazz asàssin. An unforgettable character still being reinvented today. Check her out on Tubi if you've never seen it.
This trailer reminded me of La Femme Nikita(1990) and the series of the same name(yes, Peta is gorgeous. Really enjoyed her portrayal). I haven't watched this series but have seen the Hanna(2011). Definitely piqued my interest
i am so much excited, words will be unable to describe. Incredible direction, incredible sound i heard, as always esme creed miles acting as hannah is awesome. The character hannah is so much inspiring. Thankyou david farr for this one and thankyou amazon for this latest show.
I don't watch tv.. but this sucked me in so much and I loved it. Last few EPs of season 3 were amazing. So sad it ended but I loved the whole 3 series. Thanks to Aurora as it was Midas touch being the reason why I took notice. I miss Hanna already but I'm glad she shut it down. I wish her luck 😁
Loved the series. The characters were so real, the series was so grounded, acting and action were top notch. I hope there were more seasons but I am fine with the ending they shown.
First couple seasons was fantastic, loved it, binged it all the way and watched again... Love the cast. Season 3 though kind of a let down. It was good, just not the same as first seasons... Sorry. Still like it overall.
