lRaluca Even though Spencer waited years, that still doesn’t mean anything because first of all, Hanna didn’t even know that Spencer was pinning over Caleb let alone spending quality time with him (she sneakingly hid that from Hanna), so no, she didn’t give Hanna anything . Second, Hanna and Caleb had no way of communicating, and even if they did, communicating with and ex over a distance is different from communicating with an ex in person/face to face. My point in that is that it’s easier after not seeing your ex for so long to convince yourself that you’re over them than it is when you actually see them a lot more. That’s why Hanna probably started to get confused and conflicted with her emotions once she saw Caleb again. And about Spencer “giving Hanna years” to figure out her feelings for Caleb, well how the hell did Spencer just expect Hanna to realize she still loved him after two days of seeing him again? Like I said before, it’s different when seeing an ex in person, and love is a complicated set of feelings and emotions, so it will definitely take a while to figure things out, not days. If Spencer really wanted to be “cautious” about this situation, she would have taken things slow with Caleb instead hopping in bed with him. She didn’t even ask him how he was feeling about the whole situation of Hanna being engaged and his feelings towards Hanna (which we know he wouldn’t have denied it as he couldn’t in 7x03). The cautious thing to do would be to wait until the marriage is finalized before getting all serious, which ch Spencer neglected to do because she wanted a boyfriend so bad.
