My son and I went to ‘see’ Hannah in her cottage at Cotherstone in 1990, where she autographed her book for me, my son now 53 says he’ll never forget the day we spent two hours with Hannah, a truly wonderful lady, RIP Hannah. 💐
This dear lady I loved watching her program when I was a teenager she was so lovely and gentle and seemed so innocent aswell it must of been so hard to leave the farm her animals, sleep tight Hannah 💛
Watched the story of her life ... Dont know why but it tugged at my heart strings. When she went on a train to London, stayed in the hotel ... was just lovely to see her in all her wonderment. Happy with everything, very polite or well mannered to everyone. I think Hannah as a woman was a very clever , kind sincere lady . Very "pure". Im glad she enjoyed her time with the film crew, she worked so hard all her days, was time for a holiday & a bit of company too. Bless her, she really was lovely..❤️x
Such a Wonderful Lady. Missed so very much. Thanks so much also to Barry Cockcroft. For bringing Hannah's Life Story to our Television Screens. Rest In Peace Hannah. You will Forever be loved, and Remembered. 🙏❤
What a wonderful reminder never to pretend to be someone you're not. I think Hannah's message is more important today than ever before. Such an inspirational and warm lady. May she rest and never be forgotten.
When Hannah was shown leaving her farm and isolated life behind in the documentary A Winter Too many, Hannah said "whatever I am, wherever I am, this is me". You are a beautiful lovely gracious lady Hannah. Thank you for being you, rest in peace Hannah lovely lady.
Great story, I do hope Hannah is still with us. I visited Yorkshire as an Aussie in 2003 (not the Dales however, a shame as these areas look beautiful) the people were very friendly and welcoming, funny buggers too!
She was such a humble person and such a beautiful philosophy of life. She reminds me of my grandmother with whom I was raised. If I ever get the health to travel again I would love to visit her resting place and say an ave. May she rest in peace with the angels.
Met Hannah in Cotheston outside her cottage, where she signed her autograph on a price of Tetley tea box as she was a hoarder of many things...Bless you Hannah.
Such an inspiration of a woman. She did more as an elderly lady than I could have managed as a young man. Sometimes when I feel alone and lost I think to myself what would Hannah do.
Met her in St.Ives,in Barry Cockcroft who wrote the books,I sat next to her having afternoon tea, beautiful friendly lady, have all books and information 😀 bless her xxxxx
I loved watching her life story. The first reality TV personality ever. More realistic TV should be made now days. Not the shite they have on. People love real people.
To be as humble and content as this lovely Lady. There's a lot to be said of a hard upbringing. This generation celebrates mediocrity and think's the world owes them a living.
What an absolutley amazing lady.An inspiration to us all.How did she live for so long wirh a broken hip and no heating or hot water in the dales for so mamy years in below freezing temperatures in winters fetching wayer from thecriver with her little dog bless them .I real hope she enjoyed her life in her bew home and all the new friends she met.
I’m so glad her life turned out like it did with her trips and notoriety after such a struggle for 60 years. I don’t think she could ever tell a lie. Bless her soul.
