i think I’m slowly getting why hannah put zach on the tapes and why she said those stuffs in the tape but never mentioned their relationship... probably because the real reason was that she felt like the whole summer thing was nothing to zack when it meant so much to her. She probably didn’t want everyone to know about their relationship (just as zach wanted) so instead of telling their story, she used the “zach threw away my note” as one of the reasons when zach actually kept the note... and he actually cared for hannah all along, he even kept her picture. I just regret that they never got the chance to say how they really felt for each other

Think of it this way,at least Hannah experienced genuine love (romantically) before she died

Why is Zach the nicest character in the series? Like who wouldn’t want this guy as a friend?

The reason they broke up was both Hannah AND Zach's fault because they both let each other go. Hannah didn't tell him how she felt so she let him go, and Zach didn't tell her how he felt and he let her go. They both have a problem with showing and explaining how they feel. Sucks cause they were perfect together and Zach woulda really taken care of her. :/ Zach and Hannah's relationship was so much better than Clay's and Hannah's imo

I actually never would have imagined these two together until season 2, but after watching the episode where Zach testified I finally understood their connection in season one. I feel really bad for Zach now.

honestly now i get it why zach never mentioned their relationship to his group, its because he was just tryna protect hannah . he knew what would go down if they knew they were dating. and honestly he was the softest guy in the group. he loved hannah because of her flaws and her perfection. he always admired her. damn. :(

When I first watched season 2 episode 6 I cried. It made so happy to see Hanna smile and just forget about everything.
