First sorry for my english im frenc i hope one day you gonna see anime because they have so many potential in your channel they have so manny with beautifoul story action and emotions
There are mixed opinions about this sequel, but I love it. The chemistry between Hannibal and Clarice is fantastic and the opera scene is just beautiful.
LOL... when I saw it was part 1, the first thing I thought of was 'are they going to cut it before or after the balcony scene, lol. I loved your reaction vid. I love (and miss) Florence and Giancarlo Giannini (the Inspector) and this flick so much but the tension and stress, and of course tragedy, in the Florence section is so high. I love that Ridley Scott liked that opera scene/music so much that he used it again in his Kingdom of Heaven (during the funeral). I hope you view the rest of the series, and try the extended cut of Hannibal Rising (the prequel).
I've always wondered what kind of drug is this "popper". Is it true that anyone who is under its effects does "anything" they're told? I assume this kind of drug might either be a narcotic or anesthetic. I recommend you to watch and to react to the Hannibal Rising movie. It's the beginning of how Hannibal Lecter becomes a Psycho killer.
11:50 that is Hector Salamanca of Breaking Bad and Better Call Saul By the way if you liked the films of Hannibal you should definitely give a try to the series of Hannibal. It's another masterpeice.
Oof. No, I tried to watch that series, but couldn't. It induced constant, unrelenting anxiety, so wasn't fun to watch. I think it was caused by the soundtrack.
Fragrance companies employ people whose job is to use their sense of smell to help create new perfumes/colognes so it is possible for someone to be able to break down what ingredients are in a fragrance.
Bram Stoker's Dracula (1992) Starring: Gary Oldman. Supporting actor: Anthony Hopkins. Hannibal (2001) Starring: Anthony Hopkins. Supporting actor: Gary Oldman.
and the bad guy in both this one and Leon is played by Gary Oldman ...things that make you go ...hmmm...ps the classical music the piano i think is Variations by Johann Sebastian Bach ..played by Glen Gould ...you should chek his documentary footage out sometimes .and in Italian Allegro or Allegra means "fast" or "cheerfull" with only a masculine and feminine difference...sort of like in classical sheet music "Allegretto Molto Vivace" ..crescendo, diminuendo etc etc you were thinking about Allegria ...which is the name of an awesome Cirque du Soleil show ..cheers girls
I think the obvious reason the raid at the beginning of the movie was going to be called off by Clarice Starling and John Brigham was because, like they said, there were too many innocent people who could be shot and killed in a stand-off shooting between Evelda Drumgo's men and the joint FBI/DEA/DC Police forces. Officer Bolton, the arrogant man that he is, decided he wanted to have the glory and bragging rights for bringing in a dangerous drug dealing gang leader. His decision led to the death of John Brigham and many of their own men, also Clarice Starling getting shot and also in return shooting to death Evelda Drumgo, therefore leaving her child an orphan, as in the book Hannibal, it states that Evelda's husband died, and that he was the one who gave her HIV through shared cocaine needles. Oh, also, don't worry, Allegra Pazzi will not be eaten by Hannibal Lecter. He decides to spare her, simply because he doesn't have the time, having to escape Florence hastily.
Hannibal was never going to harm Allegra, it was just an empty threat to get Pazzi talking. He would consider it rude, she had done nothing to him except be generally wonderful and appreciate his gift. Remember, his cannibalism is an expression of contempt for his victims.
I love Silence of the Lambs, such an amazing horror thriller. My Mum loves the movie too (which I find intriguing because she usually can’t stand horror movies), but she cannot stand this movie. Her parents had a farm which she knew well, like Clarice oddly enough, and she always knew how genuinely savage pigs can be, this movie just gave her nightmares. I don’t get the hype for this sequel at all. The increase in gory violence feels unnecessary and for the sake of it, just not my thing at all, when SOTL was more subtle and made more use of audience’s imagination. I also agree with what Hopkins said of the film years later, that when Lecter is in the prison cell, his power just in captivity feels more under the skin and unnerving, and when he’s out and about he has less power because he’s physically going about his cannibalistic horrors. I love the Lecter universe, all the characters and such, but I do think this sequel is a big step down. While I’m here though, I’ll recommend the Hannibal show!
For me, the death of pazzi is kinda like a comedy because he is like all the villains in comedy who get warned several times about their downfall but they are just so stupid that they continue their path leading to their downfall. Like Tom from "Tom and Jerry".
U still gotta watch, Dressed to Kill, then Manhunter! Dressed to Kill, has a very brief mention of Lector, transexualism, etc., Much like Silence, movie. Then Lector make first full appearance in Manhunter.
How is he so clever? Apart from being a Dr and genius, he's also a psychopath who's aware he's being hunted! 19:06 - Couldn't remember, did he stab him in the liver or the groin to bleed him out!?
I think Ridley fully intended to make a borderline schlocky, full-blown horror film with its own personality, rather than just an extension of "Silence of the Lambs", and succeeded.
Hi. I was a Pizza Hut driver for 25 years. I have had guns to my head. I have had the he'll beat out of me. But I was making 65,000$ a year. And I am not a quitting sort.
Does anyone know why Jodie didn’t come back as Clarice? No offense to Julianne, but Jodie is Clarice. It’s like having someone other than James Earl Jones do the voice of Darth Vader.
Jing li: He is me n I am yu” Carter:“and I’m about to whoop your old ass man cos I’m sick of playing games you me everybody’s ass around here him I’ma kick his ass I’m sick of dis”
This movie has the worst ending ever. The producers gave it the traditional Hollywood ending instead what was in the novel, which is 1000x more interesting and awesome.
...And thats one of the major reasons why Jodie Foster didnt want to reprise her role. Apparently she was offered the script, read it, immediatley hated the changes made and stepped down. I think she knew before it was even made that the sequels were going to be so different that Lambs would effectively be a stand alone film.
This film always had a major problem .. no Jodie Foster . They should have moved on to a different scenario with Hannibal after he escaped . It's hard to replace a major actor like nothing happened . Moore is good but still felt short of the chemistry between Hopkins and Foster .
again a two parter that doesn't get online right after the first part.. waiting for part 2 of a video is the thing that sucks the most after clickbaits
