the tone is different. Hannibal really was having more fun in season 3. it made him more attractive. he was funnier and more hands on, making it a lot fun to watch.

It's kind of diminutive endearing thing to say about him, it's a state of mind, we associate smallness with 'cuteness' and the things/persons we find attractive, which is mainly attributed, as in this case, to Hugh's pretty baby-like almost girlish features (baby blue doe eyes, snub nose, plush lips, not prominent brow or cheek bones etc etc)
@@ROB0T.D4N Or we just kick ya in the jewels or shins... Not like those are out of reach. I honestly believe it's easier to live as a short person then a tall person. I have a brother in law who's about 6'4" and he's always having difficulty with his size. The only real problem I have is reaching things off the top shelf at a grocery store or seeing in a crowd. But, clothing can be hemmed but it's hard to add to the length of clothes. Think of it this way, it's easier to figure out how to make yourself taller or at least reach things but when you're tall, there's nothing you can do to be smaller
