Should've accepted the $100k training camp offer rather than clickbait and exploit their names for massive personal wealth. Stay rich, you won't become a grandmaster anyway.
Kramnik has claimed cheating so much that he is now the safest person to cheat against. Nobody will take him seriously anymore. world chess champion who cries wolf.
Well, if he someone does cheat against him, and there's solid evidence (not highschool statistics), then Kramnik gains credibility, which we definitely don't want
I just checked vladdi's profile and he has games where he has 80/83% accuracy and then games where he has 95%. Will kramnik accuse kramnik of cheating based on this irrefutable argument that kramnik uses every day to accuse everyone of everything or does kramnik think only kramnik is allowed such discrepancies and that kramnik is off the hook because kramnik's main argument doesn't apply to kramnik ?
@@thepassenger5484 a 94% accuracy on a 20 move victory means nothing. (I don't agree with Kramnik on this accuracy conspiracy rampage but just saying that >90% accuracy on short miniature wins is not what Kramnik is talking about)
Gotham, I watch your videos daily since 2022 and I love them. I feel terrible every time someone tries to put you down or joke about you and your content. Just ignore them. I am one of those folks who just watches and don't comment at all like the other thousands. This is my first time commenting ever and I do appreciate the videos a lot! Keep it up man! Thanks for your hard work! From Portugal 🇵🇹
Same here. I don't know why Gotham keeps acknowledging people who just come to type crap in the comments and giving them pins. He's way up there and these guys are way down here. Don't let them bring you down to their level.
Same, also form portugal lol. Easily one of the best youtubers on this platform nowadays with your posture, honesty and authenticity. I'll never get the hate
The sad part is he throws allegations too much nobody goes against him until someone is harmed doing this... Like he is on cultist level at this point.
@@ryboi1337It doesn’t matter how deep it is. He is a former world champion of chess and a popular figure. Spreading this type of misinformation and slander about players who have dedicated their entire life to the game is just toxic and unacceptable. It is serious because imagine someone who doesn’t actively follow chess drama sees or remembers another player as being accused of cheating by a former world chess champion. That is irreparable damage to an individual’s reputation. We have seen the effects a popular figure’s opinion can have on those lesser than them time and time again, and it’s not pretty.
@@The_Lightlessit's just a matter of time until we reach the point of "yeah he's the crazy guy" and no one would take his accusations for granted anymore
He literally got humbled , like in the most literal way you can read it, after he got humbled by hikaru it feels like he is a different person even in the interviews
I think the time taken to perform some of the key moves shouldn't be overlooked. And I think that's the smoking gun that really comes up in Kramniks head when he gets skeptical about someone's play. Of an opponent has been playing okay, and then takes 16-25 seconds to perform an obvious yet key move it cam raise
Of course but "I would have played it faster" or "it was an obvious move to me" is not proof or even a valid accusation. I think contrarily, the thing for everyone watching this is the time taken to jump to the conclusion and accusation of cheating. When you're acting like a reasonable person and then spend 5 minutes to jump to accusation of cheating, which is a highly complex yet profound accusation, it raises some flags.
@@MrFocusSAif youre so objective which video did levy say Hans is cheating in? He always had a neutral position about it. He even said what things Hans did that didnt help him but he never said hans cheated, he even covered hans games with praise of his play
In terms of “how can Hans work with Kramnik”, I think Hans was very real when Danya asked him in that second SCC interview: He’s not comfortable with Kramnik’s crusade, but Kramnik has also been a good friend and done a lot for him. Kramnik is still a world class coach and theoretician and has clearly been a good influence on Hans’s game - even his SCC meltdown had a FIDE performance rating of 2754 for blitz. Sometimes relationships are complicated.
I didn’t watch the interviews but it’s pretty easy to deduce the situation is probably something like this. I don’t think any high rated chess player is comfortable with Kramnik’s crusade, let alone Hans after his debacle with Magnus.
This is my problem with Hans. He was prosecuted due to false cheating allegations and now he sides with a dude who has made it a hobby to accuse literally anyone of cheating with no evidence whatsoever. That's just hypocrisy
Maintaining "complicated" relationship with such weird people is taxing and conventionally called "toxic relationships". You have to somehow fit into the warped reality of the individual and as mentioned earlier it has an obvious conflict of ideas for Hans.
I could imagine that Hans doesn't have a huge amount of choice when it comes to high level coaches. I'm sure many players are still wary of being associated with him.
It’s funny because Hans kinda has a point when he argues the whole drama had a huge negative impact on his life and how he was really young (when he cheated, and then still rather young when the Magnus thing happened). And then he side himself with Kramnik, someone who’s made his life mission to bully people by calling them cheaters, and it makes Hans’ whole argument completely null.
@@JacobsKrąnųg Yeah you must be very intelligent to separate him being like "cheating allegations used to harass me are bad" and him being like "cheating allegations used to harass other people are ok".
I don't know why my first instinct was that they had moved into the wilderness together with the intention to return in 10 years as the best players alive.
Would be cool if from now on every single titled tuesday player activated stockfish but only against Kramnik. Only for one game a then turned it off. Imagine all players cheating, but only against Kramnik. He would go crazy af.
As fun of an idea as that sounds, it won’t ever happen and shouldn’t. They’re title players, doesn’t matter who or when they cheat, it’s still cheating and they will be banned.
@@MrSauri1mate… if you’re only concerned about a person’s skills in a board game when they’re deranged…. You should worry, you’d listen to some psychos. Skill doesn’t mean anything.
@@MrSauri1 His behavior is unfit for a sportsman, and his character is questionable after what we see him every day. Accusing people without proof is slander. Even you should be able to understand such a simple fact.
@@thederp9309what? He's a world class chess coach, whose students bring real results. In no way he's just a pathetic old man who's only good at the board game. At worst you can call him an eccentric old gen, who can't come to terms with chess world evolving way past him.
Also everyone but Kramnik is wrong. I read his interview about Ukraine, and the takeaway was everyone who said something about it are wrong, and only my opinion is the correct one.
well said about Kramnik! I think people need to stop associating with him for anything to actually change, eg teams, other players etc. only way to get something to change here
Hans doesn't have a redemption arc. He never did anything worse than a lot of other people have done. The accusers were always out of line for blowing it up to what it was.
I mean u can be a bit suspicious but to publicly accuse people without any real proof is still crazy. Also idk why he puts up these percentages as if they are proof. I'm like 1200-1300 and I've had games with around 90% accuracy and he's screenshotting like 3000 rates players with 94% accuracy as if it's some kinda of proof.
@@GethinJenkins-o6z 7 moves at 94% is nothing spectacular. I'm not saying I agree with Kramnik, but high accuracies are very easy to achieve at a low move count, because there are fewer moves to be inaccurate on. Especially when it's as low as 7 moves, you aren't even out of the opening at that point.
Up next in the upside down… Kramnik plays Hans, accuses him of cheating, then Hans sues Kramnik for slander. All the while Kramnik is walking Hans through the lawsuit argument as his life coach.
Yes We all know about Fischer I think many of greatest chess players are on the Autism spectrum... and that may have some correlation with schizophrenia etc.. so Kramnik should seek help And this is not meant to be sarcastic or derogatory in anyway
Believe me he isn’t just look at his activity on twitter or on in interviews he isn’t being satirical or making a point he legitimately believes that they’re all cheating
Instead of a Clash of Claims we should make a tournament with Kramnik where there are randomly chosen players some of whom WILL deliberately be allowed to cheat against him and regular players who don't cheat. We can then see if he has any merit in terms of actually guessing if anyone is cheating. I think he doesn't.
There's zero evidence he's cheated in recent years. Kramnik posting statistics of other players have absurd results compared to Hans winning TT and doing excellently in Blitz recently. He's much less suspicious than many other young talent.
@@Micru_6 In addition we have the current incident at Chess Olympics where he accused chess base India for cheating with their mobile phone cameras. There, he was COACH, NOT player...
@@TheGermanObserver he protected his own team and have every right to do this, thanks to his coaching uzbekistan took third place in the Olympics, thanks to your comment about Kramnik, people only can become more st*pid as you are
To be fair name anything else as controversial as this nonsense which has happened in the chess world in the last couple of months. It's okay, I'll wait.
You'd have to show he's knowingly lying but he definitely believes what he's saying. I also highly doubt there's any evidence these people's reputations are harmed since daddy Levy/hikaru say that Kramnik is le crazy
yep, now he doesn't even say "interesting" anymore, he outright says it all openly, just reminding people that Kramnik is a pretty rich person, so suing him would get you quite a bit of money.
@@zyto7904But the problem is that it is causing damage. Imagine the people who don’t follow chess actively but see Kramnik’s accusation of some particular no name titled players and they remember their reputation as a cheater. When you’re a public figure, reputation and slander means more than what meets the eye.
@@The_Lightless If you could prove that maybe but I doubt it since his twitter isn't super popular. He hasn't changed his tune since his calling out of Hikaru's insanely unlikely streaks, so I doubt you could prove he's lying in the first place.
This is and has been harassment and defamation for a while. Could everyone who kramnik accused gather up and sue kramnik? This is wild. Also, kramnik should be banned for harassing and accusing its players repeatedly.
Kramnik is trolling the world. Mocking everyone who accused hans. Helping hans with the cheating accusation by accusing everyone he plays.. diversion in motion, and levy doesn’t understand it; a high end meta move right there. No wonder they are working together. What doesn’t make sense lol.
For the past 18 years, there are only two huge cheating scandals, one involves Kramnik being a cheater and the other - Hans. Now that is soo f****ng ironic! 😀😀
At the beginning of the video, I was afraid the news was going to be that Kramnik and Hans had a falling out. I'm relieved to learn that wasn't the case.
Is Kramnik winning title Tuesday not kinda sus? Like he's obviously still a really good player but he's no Magnus/Hikaru. And in his older age surely his time scramble skills wouldn't keep up with the youth of today
Kramnik is the definition of a sore loser and an insufferable winner. Even if/when he beats you, he thinks it's unbelievable that anyone is near his level.
