I am trying to get into track instruction and autocross and they want a full suit and helmet and hans . Its 4 grand total. Cant afford it. Driving in a parking lot and entry level instruction should not require that expense. Its dumb. Your encouraging street racing at some point

How long is too long for the tethers? I figure, after a point, the tethers are too long and basically do nothing.
