Sometimes.. I think to myself.. as long as there people who compose such masterpieces and on the other hand people who can play it.. the human race is not completely lost..
Yup. And ..... "The Holy Grail 'neath ancient Roslin waits / The blade and chalice guarding o'er Her gates / Adorned by masters' loving art, She lies / She rests at last beneath the starry skies."
Leaving God, it will all be pointless eventually we are a spec of dust passing by according to evolution theory, and what will be the meaning of the peace to oneself if the peace can not give him a comfort of his own..
I'm 58 and lost my dear sister Naomi in 2018.I just found this music and I was crying uncontrollaby because I miss my sister. This is for you Naomi,God bless you.
She never died, the universe is made of math, the soul is an eternal and infinite zero, a singularity, you will reunite with every soul in the universe at the end of times when the universes reharmonizes and becomes one and whole again. Then after the climax of reunification, another big bang occurs and a few universe is born for the one infinite mind to once again experience love and pain. This song is the representation of that grandest game, the God game. The game of evolution. The world is on the cusp of an enlightenment, the grand unified theory of everything has been solved, God is mathematical logic, it is harmony, it is chaos evolving towards order, it is the climax of an epic piece of music. We are forever becoming. I promise you what I told you here is true. The god of logic is here to illuminate humanity.
Every time I hear this song, I get chills and tear up. Play this at my funeral, I told my wife. Hans Zimmer and John WIlliams, two of the best composers of our lifetime. Let us all appreciate what they have given us, during these hard times that we are coping with Covid-19.
I have watched this scene a 100 times with this music and it still gives me goosebumps, especially when he kneels, searches his soul for a minute and then bows his head. This is one of the best pieces of cinematic music ever IMO.
In that movie the Money Pit Tom Hanks sinks into the floor. In Get Out some captives sink into the floor. There's a correlation. The Mona Lisa possesses mystical powers which can make you sink into the floor and you'll be helplessly writhing there like a gnat in a spider web while you are slowly tortured and tormented, both mentally and physically, til you die or go insane.
Hans Zimmer. The greatest modern day composer that there is. Never before have I been able to simply listen to complete movie soundtracks and be blown away
Mark, you are right but I would like to suggest that you take a few minutes to look at Vangelis as well. Antarctica...stunning; Blade Runner, Bounty, the list is long.
*I'm amazed every time I play this concert piece and at it's full stereo/volume potential from my computer, I get goose bumps that true music hasn't died!*
The only regret that I have about this performance is that I was not there to see and hear this extraordinary performance. Absolutely stunning performance. I love the visuals on the screen!
I am so grateful and proud to be alive during Mr. Zimmer's time in the Earth :) Thank you Hans Zimmer to be born and bring all these exceptional and timeless piece of art to the humankind !
I always get goosebumps and tear up listening to this song. Thank you Hans Zimmer for creating such a masterpiece and to all the musicians for playing it.
*The Holy Grail ‘neath ancient Roslin waits.* *Adorned in master’s loving art, She lies.* *The blade and chalice guarding o’er Her gates* *She rests at last beneath starry skies.*
In 2008 I have been in Temple Church and while I was there looking the Knights Effigies on the floor I was listening to this song in my Ipod! Just can't describe the feeling I had in that moment.
You have no reason to kneaal before Mary Magdalene. She was a normal human being like other people. She has been healed from her sins by the Lord Jesus Christ. I do suggest you , as a Christian and as a Catholic : do not believe in things which you can read in Dan Brown's : " The Da Vinci Code". Everything what you can find in this book is a total bullshit.
STRAORDINARIO HANS ZIMMER!!!!!! ❤️❤️❤️
Hanz Zimmer knows how to get to your heart with this stunning music of the Da Vinci Code. One can listen to it over and over and over...it touches one's soul!
It's incredible, how Hans Zimmer's music makes me dreaming about new worlds. Everytime I listen to his breathtaking music, it's a kind of journey in my head, in my mind. He makes me feeling proud to be German!
Dude i feel you.The impact of the music is enormus. It really does make you wanting to find out the reason;the reason behind life and death;the purpose of humanity. It really does take one to another mystic world
This masterpiece has been with me in my tribulations making me not give up and giving me the strenght to keep moving forward... there's just a magic an essence to it that touches my soul....😊
A Magnificent piece of Symphony ever made. The coordination and professionalism of the musician are excel;lent........The Da Vinci code is one the most amazing piece of orchestra done......Every single time when I hear it inspire me to write anything.....The girls are performing wonderfully. RU-vid made the miracle to watch and listen the marvelous of this world.
Absolutely amazing piece of work! When I first watched the Da Vinci Code, I was just mesmerized by the score, especially at the end when this particular song came on. Just beautiful! I don't understand why Han's wasn't nominated for Oscar! In my opinion, this is probably his best work!
Every time I play this masterpiece,I tear up,over the loss of my sister Naomi. It took me 20+ years to get over my parents passing away.I doubt I'll ever get over my sister passing.Thank you Hans Zimmer, you are a god of music.😥
I always said that music is part of what makes a movie perfect, if it has crappy music, than the movie tends to not be so great. Hans Zimmer never fails to deliver.
I can only say that this piece by Hans Zimmer is so moving, that it compels me to shed tears of just pure joy, and sadness. It causes a ricochet through my soul and I can testify it moved my soul to the point of pure grace, as if touched by G-D Himself.
When I heard this in the movie theater I felt as if I were not there. My legs were shaking when I left and went to my car. I had to sit in my car to compose myself. The music was with me from the time I left the parking lot to the time I was home. I could not sleep at night. It tells us we are free from the dogma of religion. She freed us.
Y'know a lot is pulled from Dan Brown's (the author of DaVinci Code) a$$? It's a good movie with a great score, but when he can't even get military insignia right (the points don't symbolize dicks) or thinks that's a woman in the painting of the last supper, You're clownin'. 😂
Hands down the best musical arrangement/performance of them all. Choir, chimes, tympani, out of this world brass! The music doesn't get any better than this.
The most beautiful music Ive ever heard, performed by a mesmerizing orchestra and choir - yet it still gets 1.7k down votes? What pain are these people living with?
Mark Scheibe Everyone was born to love, if we all could listen to this at the same stage of our lives we’d all like, but some have just gotten so bad they can’t even appreciate such piece, be grateful you and I liked it, that we still feel that feeling in our heart, as if it’s being touched physically and you still breathing ❤️🔥
