We were the worst under Valverde. We lacked intensity, speed, physicality, creativity and even an identity. We completely relied on Messi and Suarez brilliance and that worked for the time. Setein followed Valverde's footsteps and we all know what happened. Koeman is the one who actually changed everything. He brought in players from the youth academy. He brought back creativity and identity. Xavi also did good. He brought back intensity and speed. Now the only thing lacking is physicality. It's great that now we are working on all aspects. Even if Hansi fails, he would have laid the foundation to work on all 4 pillars of modern football: 1. Intensity 2. Speed 3. Creativity 4. Physicality

It is really hilarious how yall shit on canceló and his defensive skills but you ignored the fact that more “natural defenders” like Araujo and kounde had horrible parts of the season where they couldn’t defend well at all. I agree, Balde should be the starter on the left, to relieve him should be Fort and a third option for depth. On the right it should be Julian Araujo, or Kounde and again a third option for depth. The Joao’s are good but they lack intensity and defensive work. We have to let them go unless they’re fine being used for depth.
