Hanson are a great band. They have pure talent. They are one of my most favourite bands of all time. I love Zac because I love drums and he is such a gifted drummer. I love you HANSON !
I love how Hanson write the most meloncholy lyrics and throw them into such an upbeat, I've got a ball of sunshine kind of song. Only Hanson. LOVE THEM.
I have always been a Zac girl but after rediscovering them this year, I definitely can see the potential in both Ike and Tay. Heck I'd go for any of them if there was an opportunity. And I have noticed that I pretty much end up liking every single song that Ike sings lead vocals on...like this one :)
I loved Hanson to due to Taylor''s vocal ( its very hot and magic). But i always liked how Ike sang and still sing: his voice is really special and unbelievable. This song i also like very much:). With love and respect - Jane from Ukraine.
Isaac was always my mother's favorite, but in an adoring mother kind of way. I wanted to die when she met him. she started crying and he put his arm around her. (she was so tiny) But I was trying to explain that seeing him after all we were going through was so comforting and a relief and I totally flubbed it and told him my dad died. I think he got what I meant though. he's so smart
Agree about Ike. He totally grew into his looks and is a handsome man! Love his jackets and ties :). His voice is at least as good as Taylor's ... just different. Going to see them live for the first time tonight in Boston. Woo-hooo!
This is such a nice and comforting song, even if the lyrics are sad. One of my favorites from when I was a teenager. I have to think the only reason why they didn't release it was because it sounds similar to "The Day We Caught The Train" by Ocean Colour Scene, because otherwise it really was a crime not to include it in TTA.
I love them all, the talent is almost unbearable, but I find Isaac's voice the most comforting. I find him to be a comforting person in general. I think he'd make a great therapist lol
The This Time Around CD you could buy in Sweden didn't have this song on it. I wish that they had put Lonely Again on that version because it would have made the album even better in my opinion.
@SpaghettiTheCat - I haven't heard much of the new Hanson's music but I agree with you on that Isacc Hanson is the best looking one of them now, he has a great voice and he hasnt sang much of their songs which he should. I think the band would get more recognition if he sang more of their songs. His voice is more mature and has a deeper tone in his voice. The other two are great but they sound too much alike.
Ever since I got the single this was released on I couldn't help but wonder 1) if this was the original working version of what became If Only (seriously, compare the bass lines and progressions) and 2) WHY wasn't this included on the album proper instead of or in addition to the weaker Hand in Hand or In the City? I have a lot of favorite Hanson songs and this is one.
Me too! I really think it may have been because (sadly) the chorus dounds a bit too similar to The Day We Caught the Train by Ocean Colour Scene, but it is definitely the best Isaac song from the TTA era.
Great song! But I have to say, Taylor has the best voice of the band but Zac, is right up there. They're all amazing but those two have that little something that just gives you goosebumps. Or maybe that's just me :)
I don't know, I could see Taylor and Zac carrying on as a "group" with just the two of them. Its possible. But the three of them sound awesome together.
