When I posted this video 5,5 years ago, I had never expected almost 50.000 views and people still reacting to it 5,5 years later. Hanson wasn't all that big here in The Netherlands; only 'Mmmbop' and 'Where's the love' were major hits here at the time. But I just loved their music, and I still do. According to all the reactions, they really must have been big in the USA at the time. So cool to read about the good feelings thinkin' back to the album 'Middle of nowhere' gives to so many Americans, apparently. Keep posting them please!
I just bought tickets for their gig on June 2nd in Amsterdam! :) Thanks for the tip, 'cause if you wouldn't have sent your reaction, I wouldn't have known that they were coming this way. So a big huge 'thank you' to you! I'm FINALLY going to hear and watch them live!! :)
Thanks a ZILLION again, lab! Went to the Middle of Everywhere concert tonight and it was AWESOME! Videos can be found in my account, I just uploaded them.

Lovely way to start my Friday morning. This had been a looooong long week but this video just closed the week with sunshine. Brilliant acoustic version of a brilliant song hahahah. Thanks so much to uploading!!
ohmy I miss them so much. It's amazing how they have grown up. I remember when this album came out and I played it out so much!! It doesn't matter how old I get everytime I hear them sing the child inside of me fan girl screams
Went to see the Middle of Everywhere concert in Amsterdam last night! It was AWESOME! First time I saw and heard the guys and I truly enjoyed EVERY second of it. Videos can be found in my account, I just uploaded them. Enjoy!
At least you had the luck to see them perform it live! ;) In Amsterdam it wasn't on the setlist, to my great regret... Did you happen to make a video of it?
I remember how badly I wanted to go to this. It was celebrating the 10th anniversary of Middle of Nowhere. Now it's almost been 20! The first 10 years went by a lot slower than the last nine!
I do like how Zac got lead on this song here, whereas Taylor had the lead for this song on the album. Seriously like every album these guys had, the songs were dynamite enough for the average music lover to like them. Underneath was pretty legit.
please can someone tell me what zac says about milwaukee before issac says "wow" (from about 1:24 to 1:49) (i didn't understand that part, I'm french, and it seemed really funny) ?
+Archinaguipuggy 1 "...which is Algonquin for (Albertane) 'the good land'. And that is what this song is about: the good land of the Algonquins, also known as Milwaukee, which is Algonquin for the good land." "Wow!" He mispronounces Milwaukee as mil-a-wau-kay which is a funny thing we do in America to make something sound more prestigious OR exotic than something really is, hence the laughter from the audience.
thank you very much ! After your answer I had to search what is "Algonquin" and now that I know it's a sort of dialect it makes more sense. I suppose all this is a sort of "inside joke" for americans, but their laughing and the anbience are very communicative.
