This video is a Tower of god explanation video where I explain the door test that took place in episode 3 , I breakdown and analyse the real meaning and purpose behind the door test examination led by test administrator Hansung Yu.
What's the point if you just pick any door within 5 minutes and you pass right? I mean, was it really just a guessing game?
I mention the options that as we see them are:
• Pick the right door among 12 doors within 5 or 10 minutes and pass
• Pick the wrong door and DIE!!
• Give up, fail, and live on
I look into the difference between people who decided to choose a door and people who didn't, the difference between someone who would pick a door and someone who won't. It's appropriate for a test on the second floor, since you look at whether someone has the guts to make that first step or not.
I mention the qualities that are being looked for like ambition, resolve, determination, courage, faith, aiming high, smart deduction skills like shibisu and khun, and not to over think and hesitate. You mustn't let anything to prevent you from thinking straight. Why Rak Wraithraser was able to open a door?
Difference between Shibisu Vs Khun , and how he knew the correct thing to do even without the hint from that random guy, about his lack of trust in others because of something major that happened in Khun's past or Khun's back story that caused him to be like this, and Hansung Yu Vs Khun Aguero Agnis connection of any sort with Khun family? Do you think there is any connection between Khun and Hansung Yu? Also what do you think is up with Khun's bag?
Anyway this episode was really awesome! I'm really loving the tower of god lore it's just getting better and better!
This is up to Tower of god Episode 3 English Subbed / Eng Sub 2020 so there are no tower of god spoilers from Webtoon.

@@TrebbleBucket Thanks. Yeah true, you have to be able to make decisions under pressure without hesitation and over thinking. It seems like Khun already knew about his lack of trust, but he doesn't know how to overcome his weakness. Like Hansung Yu said, he needs friends like them, maybe they can fill up for his weakness while he learns to overcome his weakness over time. Thanks for the feedback, I really appreciate it!👍

Another good example would be Coby before he met Luffy Vs Coby after he met Luffy. Coby before he met Luffy would give up. Post time skip Coby would pick a door. Good vid, I'm gonna share this vid on fb for u

Good analysis. So floor 2 is basically a floor of tests, this area is designed to find worthy individuals who is capable of climbing the tower. Its a long climb there and the regulars climbing the tower will also do anything possible, just to go to a higher floor. As headon said in the beginning, everything you want is at the top... and people do craaaaaaazy things just to reach the top and attain what ever they desire. The red door is a test that determines if a person is able to make a decision and take action for it. Lots of decisions are needed to be made while climbing, cause if you hesitate, you might die from that uncertainty. 😊

Thanks. Yeah, very well said! I think anyone who is unable to pass the tests on this floor will not be able to handle the higher floors. That's why it is necessary to give tests where they have to risk their lives to pass, because going up the tower is only going to get harder and more risky to a person's life. Thanks. Yeah that's a good one, I haven't thought about that, it's definitely a possibility. Also I would assume there's more to it too, since Khun says "what's he doing here?" I think this shows that Khun also knows him from before, so maybe they had some sort of encounter beforehand. Thanks for the feedback 👍

Hansung yu was a follower of khun's father in the hidden floor. It would be possible that theres a connection between them.

If you're not a webtoon reader then you have good deductive skills to get all this out of just what was shown in the episode and it seems like the anime director wants to make Khun seem more novice and unprepared compared to what was originally in the webtoon for this test. Also nice video btw :).

Thanks, I was thinking about the door test a bit and I felt like some info was missing, it didn't make sense to me without a give up option which they didn't mention in the anime. So I checked out the door test part on Webtoon and it made more sense, the anime missed some details. This is why I made this video. I'm planning to read all of it on Webtoon after this season anime finishes. Thanks for the feedback, I really appreciate it. 👍

Very interesting take on it. I honestly thought this test was stupid before. It's much more meaningful than I thought. I'm starting to see why people love this series now. It's very well written.

Wow, I'm glad it helped! I'm planning to do more videos like this. Yeah so far it does seem well written, but there are still some stuff that needs explaining, we are only 3 eps in, but based on what Webtoon readers r saying, it only gets better!

Good video and analysis but there is one mistake. There was no "give up" as an option for them... Yu Han never mentioned it but the more the story goes on you will understand it better, if you enter the test arena there is no give up option for you, you should continue until the test ends (time limit or winner decided or anything the rules of test says...) In future you can see better, many many regulars dies. There are millions of regulars in the core part of the tower which tests are taken and most of them die in the process of climbing the tower and we have very few rankers (people who could climb the tower to where Zahard/Jahad lives and if you wanna know what I mean by very few, I mean to the extent that the chance of seeing a ranker in the tower except test arenas is almost zero based on author's description). Also there is one more reason why they won't give up which you will see in future too. People who fails in 2nd floor can not climb the tower for the rest of their lives, also people who were chosen by headon to climb the tower are who that risk their lives to climb the tower, so ordinary people who won't risk it will never enter the tower in the first place🤷‍♂️ so if you say people here will give up (if it was allowed which is not) you should consider that these people who won't risk their lives won't get the permission to enter the tower in the first place🤷‍♂️ Tower is a very very dangerous place, killing people everyday is as usual as eating meal everyday 🤷‍♂️ people who can't risk their lives, can't enter the tower at all, well if they know this (which they know) they won't enter the tower even if they have the chance to🤷‍♂️ Overally the video and analysis was very good. 👌 Good job👌

Yeah I understand what you mean. This is just an analysis so I could be wrong. Would you differentiate between people who risk their lives for something in a general sense, and people who risk their lives when death is staring them right in their face? If you would, which would they need, a general willingness to take risks or a complete willingness even if death is pretty much guaranteed? Which would they require to be chosen as a regular for the inner tower? Also, how would you interpret that panel at 0:57 "if you don't find the door in ten minutes and GIVE UP you'll FAIL. And if you open a wrong door within the ten minutes you will DIE"? Why does not finding the door in 10 minutes and giving up result in failure? While opening a wrong door within 10 minutes result in death? Why is there this difference in wording - failure and death? If you remove the give up option, then it's either pass or death, right? Then you might as well pick a door before 5 minutes since you are most likely gonna die anyway. What was the real meaning of the test then? What were they testing? Also, thanks for the feedback! 😁👍

@@AnimeTalks101 so many questions at once😅 actually I didn't said your analysis was wrong, well the part I talked about haven't clearly stated in anime so it can't be helped. Well people who enter the tower all know death is staring at them the moment they start climbing the tower. Have you noticed how calm Hwa Ryun was even when she lost her eye cause of Baam? They all know it already and accepted it. Holding grudge is very stupid in tower🤷‍♂️ I can't say what a human needs to take such risks tbh but as it says you can get anything you want if you climb the tower, for example the rankers won't die with natural death so all rankers achieved immortality to an extent (even Lero-Ro stated it), you can have money, power, woman, anything. For example khun's father have about 3000 wives 🤷‍♂️🤣 well he is a noble and a special case but you got the idea. I don't know what exactly someone needs to risk their lives like this. Also you asked about the criteria of the chosen ones, even we manhwa readers don't know that yet🤷‍♂️ even headon is one of the biggest mysteries of the story. What kind of being is he to have the authority to choose the rankers?! No one knows!! there are still many many mysteries which we don't know... Well Tower of God is a very long story, which manhwa readers are almost sure it will be at least as long as one piece of it won't exceed it🤷‍♂️ About the gate test, maybe in anime they didn't explain it very good cause anime's pace is very fast compare to manhwa. The rules was these: you should find the correct door within 10 minutes, if you open the wrong door you will die and if you don't open any door the test will forcefully ended (and when khun asked what is that mean, Yu Han showed them how they will die🤷‍♂️). Why Yu Han came up with such test? In manhwa he explained a little more compare to anime, he just was curious about what will happen 🤷‍♂️ that's all😅 Yu Han is a very very very interesting character ✌️ And one more thing, what they are testing?! Can you remember Yu Han's words to Lero-Ro? The floor of test (it's the name of second floor) is for eliminating the threats for the tower. Idk if I should explain more or not cause the director changed many things and he might planning on giving these info later. About other floors, what they are testing? Any floor have its own guardian which everything is based on what they want, and we almost know nothing about them🤷‍♂️ we just know they are some ancient species who rule over each floor and the ruler is a high ranker which is the guardian's representative. You saw the guardian of 2nd floor, the one Baam (Yoru) made contract with to use shinsu. I guess I answered everything as much as I could without spoiling anything for people who read the comments 🤔 In summary the whole tower is very dangerous place which people kill each other everyday. Everywhere is like that. You even will see in far future in hell train arc that there is a specific floor which people may become slaves in it for the eternity 🤷‍♂️ no matter what their status is 🤷‍♂️ Hope my answers satisfy you at least a little bit 🙂

@@mohammadnoori8579 Thanks! Yeah, there is a lot of mystery in ToG, that's what I love about it lol, I like analysing, speculating and theorizing. I guess we just have different interpretations. I actually read the door test part in the manhwa so I'm basing it on that, not the anime, because there is extra info in the manhwa. That panel at 0:57 is a manhwa panel, it is not something from the anime. Something you said really makes me think. If the floor of tests is really for eliminating threats, then what threats have they eliminated so far in the anime? Are the threats failing or passing? Can't wait to find more info on that, I think it will get clearer as it goes on, like you said. Thanks for sharing your views! 😁👍

@@AnimeTalks101 eliminating the threat means killing or making them fail. It probably will be cleared on 8th or 9th episode of anime. "0:57 I honestly didn't get what you meant by that so you were referring to manhwa" well in future floors you will see mpr clear the moment a test starts there is no way to give up the test...

Yeah I've read all of the door test part so if it's during that I must've read it. If it's after that part then I haven't. I think you're referring to when Hansung Yu talks about having to drink the tea to find out whether it is poisonous or medicinal. Am I correct?
