Behold, to obey is better than sacrifice, and to hearken than the fat of rams.” (1st Sam. 15:22) “One man esteemeth one day above another: another esteemeth every day alike. Let every man be fully persuaded in his own mind.” (Romans 14:5) Let each then be persuaded as the Lord has led them to in these areas my friend.

@yosef harrison I assume you know what covenants are. The Old Testament or the Hebrew Bible was for the Jews back in time or the theocracy in the Hebrew scriptures. What we believe is that Jesus came not to abolish the law but fulfill the law and make a new covenant with the people of Israel and the Gentiles. This is why we call the Tanakh the Old Testament. The reason why we don’t practice the Jewish holidays is because we are not binded to follow the old laws anymore, sure we can practice it but it is not require anymore as Yeshua came to fulfill it. Also Gentiles like me don’t practice it because these traditions are solely for the purpose of the Jews.

Sister, harpazo is after the dead in Christ rise first (1 Th 4:15-17) and the context of the resurrection for disciples of Yeshua or Jesus is at His coming (1 Cor 15:22-23), after the Tribulation (Rv 20:1-6). Many are deceiving us that the harpazo is imminent or that we will not face the Tribulation. It’s not Biblical. The Holy Spirit can strengthen us and help us not to fear (Mt 10:28), but it’s important to believe the truth. Hi, look up on the internet how to get started, it's simple and beautiful, I've been celebrating it for about 5 years now, it's caused my family sadness because for me, no more Xmas after I learned it's pagan roots, but God's holidays are true and beautiful with roots in Him! Shalom🤗

As a Jew from Israel, I can tell you that this channel very wrongly explained the holiday. Hanukkah celebrates the battles of the Jewish tribes in Israel against the Greek empire at 167 BCE. The miracle of Hanukkah is an oil lamp that lasted for eight days, and the holiday has nothing to do with the "Menora". It is not related to the winter at all- for in Israel the winter is almost as hot as the summer. The Roman Empire DID win in the battles against the Jewish kingdom and expelled them, and there is a whole different holiday about that. There is no awakening in Israel- Less then one percent of Israel's permanent population is Christian, and most of them are in Israel to learn in one of the world class universities in Israel. My family and I desire to celebrate ALL the feasts of the Lord correctly. As gentiles it's a bit difficult to understand especially the month, days, etc. But I am trying 😄

I read and recommend the Complete Jewish Bible (David Stern). It's amazing, as it is a 100% legitimate Christian bible but also teaches about the Jewish people and gives us Hebrew words so that we can see the connection between Jew and Gentile in Messiah. It's by far my favorite of all of my bibles. It also uses the word 'Hanukkah' and as you read it you are brought emotionally and rationally closer to Messiah and His people, the Jews. Well, we believers are Messiah's people, but also the Jews are. Isn't that cool?

If John the author himself didn’t think it’s important to use the hebrew word, why complaining?

A Strong’s Concordance is massively helpful in connecting the dots for Gentiles when studying the Bible 🙂

Jesus is flesh with the spirit of god within him and all humans have spirits so he is a man but his spirit just as all spirits do his defines who he is and his spirit is god's spirit. God the father is a god as in he is just some being with no form but he has a spirit and his spirit is life and he is in his creation and we have life but Jesus is the image of god in which we were made and Jesus decided to come to earth and die and then he just went back to heaven and so it is funny how he and the angels just look down and see us and our lives and they have ladders they climb down and they report back to god and god is in his creation but in order to feel him and his spirit we must accept him and be forgiven of our sins so that we are pure and that is what comes from baptism then we repent and are forgiven. So when we do this god manifests himself and is revealed to us in his creation but yes there is a physical person named Jesus who sits on the right hand of the father who is so bright that he lights up all of heaven. But his spirit is always with us even though he and his father are in heaven. And he gave us his name which has power. And Jesus is the word made flesh the word is the spirit and just as our bibles are books Jesus is human. Bibles are the word made book and Jesus is the word made flesh and the spirit is the word and the father is the one who speaks the word. Also god is love. god is light. god is life. god is truth. god is goodness. and he is much more but these aren't metaphors as many people think. God said he is the god of the impossible if you do not believe you are not believing the truth and god is truth and thus you are rejecting god and god is life thus you will die but god loves us too much to make us cease to exist so instead our spirits are sent to hell which is the absence of god and thus it is dark. it is dead. it is evil. He is the water of life so thus hell will be the fire of death and much more. The theology isn't that hard as long as you have faith and believe the theology. but also the church is god's bride so as he rules the world we will rule the world but as a wife submits to her husband we will still submit to ours and basically humanity is disobedient so now god has to do stuff to save us from things that aren't him because in rejecting him we rejected ourselves in a way but there were pieces of us called humans and we are his body so few pieces of him were still faithful and through humanity's rebellion and he shall then in the end cast out the dead parts of his body which is earth because when married the husband and wife become one as you mentioned so he will rebuild earth with the few limbs he has left once the dead parts are cast into hell. We are the body of Christ so It is like his body died and so he will have to revive it as much as he can but eventually he will have to amputate the dead parts of his body and cut them off.

In Acts 3:13 Peter and John himself said the God of Abraham glorified his son and servant Jesus and in verse 15 God resurrected Jesus. Mark 15:39 Now when the army officer who was standing by with him in view saw that he had expired under these circumstances, he said: “Certainly this man was God’s Son.” Matthew 27:43 He has put his trust in God; let Him now rescue him if He wants him, for he said, ‘I am God’s Son.’” Matthew 14:33 Then those in the boat did obeisance to him, saying: “You really are God’s Son.” John 19:7 The Jews answered him: “We have a law, and according to the law he ought to die, because he made himself God’s son.

We use the date from a particular world view. If we used the Roman, Greek, Islamic or Hebraic dating systems, then fine. But don't call it "common era" and pretend it's not what it is.
