Hanuman Temple in Hampi is a must visit destination. Hampi Hanuman Temple is located in Karnataka. Anjaneya Temple lies on the top of Anjaneya Hill in Hampi, which is believed to be the Birthplace of Hanuman. Also known as the Yantrodharaka Hanuman Temple Hampi, it is one of Hampi's famous attractions, and is considered sacred by the Hindus.
Hanuman Temple is located on the other side of Tungabhadra River. From the banks of Virupaksha Temple you can take a ferry which will take around 5 minutes to cross the river. On the other side, you can get an auto rickshaw to go to Hanuman temple. Since the temple is located on a hill, there are around 570 steps to reach to the top. The climb will take around 30 minutes. There are viewpoints on the top from where you can get a breathtaking view of Hampi.
It is believed that Lord Rama and Hanuman met on this hill for the first time. As a sacred place, many people come here to pray and receive blessings. The last ferry back is around 5 pm. Make sure you reach the ferry point before 5 pm.
