Hi Robin, as always, good video from you. I appreciate the review. Great product. I tend to appreciate your video from a different perspective. I really like the effort you have put in tuning the way you talk in recent videos. You look cooler nowadays which is perfectly fine with me although I kind of missing the cheerfulness in you. But, as always, my support for you will never fade away. Bravo!!

Good videos ur making chief. The fact that u dont have even one thumps down says enough about ur video's. A quistion... I kind have got the same hair as yours, i used hamz de fuko quick sand but the hold wasnt enough. Is the difference in strength between claymation and quicksand that much that i will feel the difference. Because i never tried claymation

@rossdevers9478
@rossdevers9478 8 лет назад
wet or damp hair will add a little more shine..though you might have an issue with the hold if your hair is to damp. Hair length honestly doesn't matter with this product...and with short fine hair it should work for you. I recommend getting the mini kit and try all the products before diving into one or two full size products.

Robin James James I think personally that if you want to style your hair you don't have to buy expensive hair products .I normally buy my hair products up to six or seven pounds if needed but not products that cost 16 pounds.I know the Hans Dr Fuko and I know there a fantastic brand but it's way to expensive

I have really thick, poofy hair and it's fairly wavy too. I don't need a product that adds volume as I already have that, so would this be good to use? I don't want a wet look either.
@rossdevers9478
@rossdevers9478 8 лет назад
try the Hybridized wax, Sponge wax or Claymation. In terms of shine/hold from greatest to least in the order above...the pomade would also work if your not looking for volume. Quicksand is another and is one of my favorites because it's also a dry shampoo but it adds a tiny bit of volume naturally, moreso if you use a hair dryer. If you want no volume at all then stay away from Quicksand or Gravity Paste. Most of the other products will work for you, I suggest getting on hanz de fukos website and doing a little research on the products. Then go ahead and buy the mini kit they have on the site so you can try them all with very little investment into the products themselves and mix and match the ones you like before diving in to one product. Also bear in mind that this is a medium hold product as is the Pomade, the others are high holding products. There are also a couple of youtubers that are sponsored by HDF and have a promo code that'll get you the mini kit for free...if I find it again I'll let you know

+BetrayedColt currently I checked yesterday that the mini kit is out of stock, do you have any more questions by chance, I'm here to help as I've tried the whole line
@SoloC350
@SoloC350 8 лет назад
+Ross Devers Which product (from the hanz de fuko line) would you recommend for someone who just wants more volume and still retain a natural look? I would buy the mini kit but it's still out of stock so any advice from someone who have used them all is great.
@rossdevers9478
@rossdevers9478 8 лет назад
+SoloC350 you could use a couple products actually. By natural look you mean with very little or a natural shine correct? Volume can be achieved in two ways, either the product itself aids in creating volume or if the formulations hold is high enough to create the "look" of volume....for the first part of your question...Sponge wax, gravity paste, Quicksand, and Claymation will all give you a natural shine...you can damp your hair before you put it it. For volume, Quicksand is one of the better ones for volume, it's holding power is 3rd only behind Gravity paste and Claymation but if you don't want your hair feeling dry and gritty it may not work for you, not including the scent as some people like it or hate it, then I would recommend either sponge wax, gravity paste, or Claymation. It would all depend on the style your looking for...but in terms of holding power, Claymation, my preferred product...Is a beast in that regard...use a hair dryer and it will add a small amount of volume...followed closely by Gravity paste in terms of hold...in my opinion using a hair dryer with this will achieve a higher voluminous effect...and finally the jack of all trades...and my second preferred product...Sponge wax...now sponge wax is a high hold product...but in my opinion it has the least hold out of all the "high holding" products but it does everything well but not great. It's easily the most versatile across the board...it will give you a natural shine...and a good hold and volume to a degree. I hope this helped, but if it didn't I would go directly to the source and call them about what your looking for. I have personally called them. couple of times and they have by far one of the best customer services ever, they are knowledgeable about their product plain and simple. Be precise in what you want as they are in the business of selling their products but if you need any more information they would be the place to go. If you have any more questions I'll be glad to answer them for you.

Whats the difference about this and modified pomade ? They both look like they do the same thing
@albisnow6996
@albisnow6996 8 лет назад
I've used both but I still don't understand the difference. I've only used modify pomade by itself once and it's lightweight with a medium hold and very smooth. Hybridized wax smells better and is shinier and slicker. I think the hold is worse but I've never used it by itself so idk.

Things to take note of - It smells like Iced Lemon Tea, - It is quite oily
@rossdevers9478
@rossdevers9478 8 лет назад
it's way less oily/residue than the Pomade...but this wouldn't be a product for you if you don't like "oily". Sponge wax, or Quicksand would be better in my opinion.
@rossdevers9478
@rossdevers9478 8 лет назад
The scent isn't bad in my opinion and it is kinda strong when first opened but it doesn't stay that way and the scent dies down during the day when your outside in the elements
@Gamebred-Nightmare
@Gamebred-Nightmare 8 лет назад
The smell is good, but the oil is too much. Surprisingly the pomade is less oily. I prefer claymation as my all rounder wax.
@rossdevers9478
@rossdevers9478 8 лет назад
+Beefslap In my opinion I feel the Pomade is more oily and has way more residue on your hands after applying it to your hair..with the wax, one quick washing of your hands with water and it seems to get that little excess off. With the pomade..it still feels like you have some residue on your hands. Hybridized wax, Sponge wax, and Quicksand are probably the three best for little to no residue...Pomade feels more oily in my opinion
@MrPulversson
@MrPulversson 8 лет назад
I'm having trouble deciding between this and the Modify Pomade. Can someone whit more knowledge than me be kind and tell me some pros/cons (or just motivate why the other is better)?
@rossdevers9478
@rossdevers9478 8 лет назад
Modify Pomade is very very shiny and has more residue on your hands...in my opinion it's not a product that allows you to run your hands through your hair due to the Pomade residue..and because it has a medium hold you almost kinda have to fix it sometime during the day. Hybridized wax in my opinion has a higher hold, and a much better scent. It also has a satin shine that looks a bit more natural, whereas the Pomade has a crazy shine. Also Hybridized wax doesn't have nearly as much residue as the Pomade so it allows you to run your hands through your hair and or fix it during the day if your not cocktailing it with another "higher hold" HDF product..I would recommend you getting the mini kit and trying out all the products and trying different combos of each or cocktailing a couple to see how you like them.
@rossdevers9478
@rossdevers9478 8 лет назад
Not to say the Pomade is bad, it has a very subtle scent and very shiny...very good for those formal and professional events and pretty versatile. Also it all depends on the style your looking for...
@MrPulversson
@MrPulversson 8 лет назад
+Ross Devers thank you very much! I just started with HDF and so far im very satisfied with my results (Claymation). I will definitivley pick one of those kits! meanwhile ill just pick up the Wax.
@MrPulversson
@MrPulversson 8 лет назад
+Ross Devers By the way, does the Wax harden up, or can you recomb it?
@rossdevers9478
@rossdevers9478 8 лет назад
+Stalins moustache I doesn't get hard like other waxes, you can definitely feel it in your hair but with me using it, I have never seen it harden at all..I will dry but it doesn't feel hard in the hair...most of HDFS products don't harden at all..with the exception of Claymation and what I mean is if you use too much of the product and you don't adequately warm it up in your hands before applying it to your hair. Claymation is some serious stuff, by far one of the highest holding products on the market period and its vastly different from the other HDF products... It tends to clump in your hair, but it's a "wet" clump...it doesn't harden...but out of all the products in the lineup, that's the only one you have to watch out for. As long as you warm it up in your hands...it's an amazing product

Veron Bilali wrong. hair loss is a result of genetic androgenic alopecia, where some hair follicles are susceptible to systematic thinning. This is due to the particular enzyme Dihydrotestosterone (DHT), that binds to the follicle and leads to cellular death Can't believe these wives tales are still believed by some. lunacy.

Good video but This hanzdefuko thing is spreading like Virus on RU-vid and other social media . Every single hair styling youtuber is reviewing these products . Even my instagram home page is full with these product ads. It's so annoying to see same thing every where . If their products are realy so good and worth money then they don't need to be shown and advertise every where. People will automatically buy if it's realy worth.

I appreciate what you said Raza, but if people don't know about the product, how are they gonna try it and realise how good they are? They're marketing has been amazingly done since now nearly everyone knows about them. All I'm saying is that a good business will market their products just like Hanz De Fuko have done to make people aware :) Loved the review by the way Robin!
