I've been unsure of the market due to volatility, at the same time I still feel its the right time to make profit cos of the decrease in price expecially when I hear about over 500k during the lockdown and I'm driven to ask of the techniques and skillsets that's needed to achieve this feat?
I agree especially with what Nithin Kamath said in 18:11 which indeed encourages us better on how to manage our finances and also know the risks involved. I'll advice that you focus on some candid niceties especially if you're not too which is firstly to staying protected by learning how to trade in the current market to cut losses and make profits or getting an investment advicer or a broker who'll help enable you to staying in profit and money management just like how Nithin said it.

The best way to take advantage of this insightful Happiness from money is to invest with an expert, personally I lost alot during the last crash. Totally disagree with nitin kamath only on 1 point. He says property is not a good investment and other side he says 1% traders make fd returns. So what ur trying to say. Property is bad and trading is good. I m totally confused and shock with this answer. Property is a good investment from 1000 yrs. It will be good coming 1000yrs as well.

I totally agree with Nithin on the thing that you should have a second source of income if you want to do trading. The biggest example for me is my father. He used in work in BSNL. And being a government company, the work was very less and he used to say that most of the times he just used to go to the office and just sit for hours and chat with his friends. He couldn't study commerce which he wanted to because of my grandpa's pressure of studying science. At that time there was no free source like RU-vid. So my dad started learning about the stock market by reading books and talking to his friends who were involved in the market. He started trading with ₹2000 and lost all of it. But he said that he learnt one thing which could earn him much more money. The next time he traded with ₹2500. He made ₹120. He always tells me his stories about the market. It was only when he joined one of the dalaal street trading groups that he left his job. That too after working for 20 years at BSNL.
Great Listening, but I would have liked focused questions on failures, disappointments, in life/career and how he dealt/continues to deal with them...that's where the real learning is.
This past few days watching my crypto portfolio decline is very disheartening. Holding doesn't really profit much. Any idea on how to earn better in the short run?
My advice to anyone feeling the heat in this bear market. Just trade long term more than ever. If you can then get a professional to trade for you I think that way your assets are more secure .I invest with Mrs Justina Jackson and the profit is great even with the dip
I agree. Most people think that investing in crypto is all about holding till it rises, with the recent crash in the market we should know that long term price predictions are very difficult to achieve. Trading with Ms Justina Jackson make me realize that rather than gamble on long term investment and still losing to the dip. it's better to trade crypto on short and make profit. I trade under her too
I hate zerodha totally, I like sharekhan is good everything brokerage high but never cheated with retail investors and zerodha use and share our trade data to global markets institutions. Never use Zerodha for over 1cr. Portfolio
His answers were like share price.. Didn't get couple of times where they were going 😆 no offense but felt it like that.. Brilliant way of responding to interview.. 👌
@nithin Kamath you have said that you will be surprised if farmers will invest in market, i just wanted to share that I come from farmer family , like my fathers generation still doing farming and we are next who has education plus farms too, our parents didn’t knew about market potential which makes me sad but at least they knew that education that’s what needed for their children’s and all of our circle is in market. We are happy that our generation have different approaches than traditional farming, i am damn sure that in next 20 yrs India is going to be different in every aspect.

Dear Nithiin ji.. Can we please introduce sub-folders under Zerodha mobile app holding tab so that investors can create strategy wise sub-folders and park the position / view the position accordingly. Suppose, someone had bought ITC 100 shares for long term view and later bought 150 for short term view. how would he will differentiate it? he have to have keep a separate tracker like MC . sub-folders required a small development with huge value addition..
Great interview. What I loved is Ankur opened with appreciating the product that Nitin has built and not just about how much money he made. Most of the other interviews focus too much about the money they made which I honestly think takes away from the real story of Zerodha.
