@kolbydmc Sorry dude I fried my bros mac and it's currently not working but once it gets fixed I'll be sure to send it to you. Or I could show you how to build it on GB if you would like. cheers
I'm really sorry for replying so late to a video well over a year and a half old, but the synth line is in E phrygian, which is the fourth mode of C major. The whole song runs at 120 BPM to the quarter note--the synth line is all syncopated sixteenth notes.
you are so awesome. I could not get the ms2000b but was able to get a ms2000R and a Yamaha DX7. I really appreciate your efforts on this website because no one out there is capable of this. I will see if the ms2000R sounds like the B version. I am learning a great deal on how to create my own patches and sounds. Look forward to the upcoming videos.
Nice Video! I don't really know a lot about keyboards. But I made my own "Patch" if you will, on Garageband. And it really sounds like this one. Just add delay it makes it more intense! I made it after going mad from the that riff at the end of "the only time" from the TDS tour in 94.thanks for the video.
@kolbydmc I use garageband, Because my bro has a macbook and I can record. Otherwise I just have fun playing, and I don't know anything about macs. But if you have garageband I can tell you how to make it, it's really a matter of "butt fucking" an instrument with effects and a good ear. Then maybe you can do it on whatever keyboard your using. I'll give you the idea. :{ cheers.
Hello Avidware, different HAPPINESS IN SLAVERY touched on this link It seems that you play with your left hand Mi-Mi (many times), then with right hand you play LA, LA-b (flat), LA, SI, MI, RE. I'm right or am I wrong?. Poe Please help me, I need the NOTES. Thanks.
@AvidWave Dude I was just going to ask about terrible lie it was driving me insane! Good of you to do that! Hey I remembered Why I put a little delay. When I repeat the riff theres like a missing note thats just left out right? So I covered it with delay and it sounds ok. I think I also did that fat ass bass synth at the begging of closer. It's not that hard to make I guess. Just a FYI. Cheers looking forward to your next vid.
@AvidWave I cant seem to get the tarkus to get this sound. One thing i did find out about it is that its made after the ms2000 not ms2000b so that may be the problem. I am still trying to work with it though sense I really need this sound.
@AvidWave Well as I said I don't know anything about macs or the files. I'm lost when it comes to macs. But @kolbydmc you're more than welcome to guide me on how I can give you the patch file for the Instrument.
after looking at the first video more closely I noticed the red light in the virtual patch 4. Red light on Virtual patch 4, red light on the EG 1 on the source and red light on the pitch on the destination. What is the reason for this and are there any other virtual patch settings I need to set. thanks.
I input all my settings according to the video on my ms2000 and then went to the first video you did and noticed a slight difference in sound. I moved LFO 1 not mentioned in your parameters to Sawtooth and it immediately made a difference in sound ( I looked at your ms2000 settings in the first video and noticed this difference also). What is the LFO 1 setting? thanks.
