There isn’t a place to do this sorta thing where I live. Me and my mates LOVE skating, we go as much as possible, but there’s never anywhere to freestyle and do what we want. It’s why I’m always jealous of these vids😂👌🏼🤷‍♀️

At 2:08 you had to alert a pedestrian on narrow path, which I've been figuring out how to get around. Being that some people are plugged into their music, don't always hear a bike bell or speaking loudly. Feels awkward when i say "BEEP BEEP or "ON YOUR RIGHT/LEFT" hoping they hear me. I recently bought loud whistles. I hope it doesn't scare people and make them move in the wrong direction as my reflexes aren't that quick. Also, some people don't seem to want to walk out of the way when they see you coming (even though you're in the bike lane) continue walking to cross in front, like they expect you to stop/manuever. That one happened when i rode my bike. Similar on skates. So rude. What's your take? P.S - I smell a "Happiness series". (?)

Dude smacked his head on the asphalt after that stop sign hop too. Really easy to get a brain bleed from that kind of fall. Upgrade to a helmet and better decision making.

I had a mastectomy due to breast cancer and I have CPTSD from childhood. I'm 44yo now, mother of 3. My right arm haven't fully recovered. I've been watching inline skates videos and I really want to learn, but my husband n daughter disagree. The skates + safety are pricey in Indonesia 😢 so I'm just gonna watch videos, who knows maybe someday I get to buy a pair, someday

Hi all skaters, any opinion on K2 SODO please ? I can see you all mostly rolling on seba hardshell boots with wizards (bit too expansive for me). Is the SODO boot too soft oposite (compare) to those ? Thank you for any response in advance. Realy enjoing your smooth rides. Want to get back to skating aswell thanks to you...

+Martin Pšenička Sodos are great skates. The boot is softer than the Sebas and will make it less responsive for very technical maneuvers. A great option is to get the K2 R100 frame and mount it on a more supportive boot like a K2 unnatural, Salomon ST or Rollerblade Fusion.

+Rightwisewicked I don’t like to bomb through stop signs like Sheldon does in this video. But in fairness we plan this route because of the low traffic volume and most of the stop signs are 4 way stops.

I bought my rollerblades a week ago. It’s been 14 yrs since I’ve bladed. I was terrified the first day on them! I only fell a couple of times In the last couple days that I’ve skated. I plan on skating in the morning. TBH, my heart is racing just thinking about it. I was so excited and had so much fun the other day. I don’t have friends like that; but maybe I’ll meet someone that I can skate with eventually.
