It’s so hard not be envious of Tokyo Disneyland. The attention to detail is always wild-the quacking at the entry gate, the lines on the bricks, the front and back of the trashcans, and then everything else on top of it. I also don’t get why the US parks don’t really do classic character events like this. It’s always like an overarching magic or celebration theme with a ton of IPs instead. Also lol at corn always finding a way in 😂
That and it's pal palooza where they are apperantly celebrating each mickey character that isn't mickey. I can tell because before this minnie had her own "Funderland". So after this could be someone like goofy.
Chris, you're doing such a great job making sure the public's privacy is protected as well as delivering us such a high-quality video! Thank you for setting the standard
I can't help but be amazed at the cast members who put this all together. They're like Santa's elves...I suspect they begin working as soon as the park is closed. Perhaps in the middle of the night even. It's a wondrous thing!
I absolutely adore Donald Duck, he's my favorite of the Mickey gang followed by Goofy. I had an Uncle I was very close to as a child before he passed away, he always did a Donald impression all the time. So, I have a big love of Donald, this looked like a fun event.
I’m so happy to see how fun the decor is which has always been a staple of decor at Tokyo Disneyland. Surpassing expectations with those little extras we don’t seem to get much of at Disney World in orlando. Even the food looks fun to eat and well presented. After all it’s Donald’s 90th birthday this year. Have all other parks forgotten that milestone birthday?
I loooove this event so much I might go again before the end. I also love your positive energy and the fact that you follow the trend in the japanese youtube by blurring people🥰
Anything Donald related is beyond cute and I want it but if I had to pick one item, it would be the cutie pie stuffie. And you can hear that crazy pen in the background 😂😂
I'm so glad to see Donald Duck celebrated over there! It is his 90th birthday today after all! I'm really sad that Disneyland in Anaheim isn't doing that. They're pulling away from honoring the original characters, at least Tokyo isn't
Just found you ... enjoyed special Donald time. Will be back to view more videos ... wow you have a lot. Have done lots of travel in Japan, but Pandemic has kept me away. I shall be back!
Chris, I really like that t-shirt! It's giving 70s vibes. You look great! You'd also look great in a Roosevelt shirt...they've got shirts for nearly every Disney and Universal Studios theme park occasion.
@@tdrexplorer Where did you get the shirt you are wearing in the video? We didn't see anything like that when we were there! If we can get it online somewhere I'd love to know!
The wise card was great for us too while travelling in Japan, highly recommend for anyone going. Ps would love to try those yummy desserts. Thanks for taking us along for the journey Chris!
Thank you Chris for showing us around! We are traveling to tokyo disneyland in June and looking forward to trying your recommended food items and apple tea soda!
hmmm I wonder if Chris likes apple tea soda? 🤔 ugh this event looked sooooo cute, I wish they would do stuff like this in the us parks so badly!! another great video :))⭐⭐
In malaysia, donald and daisy are visiting here at a local mall, celebrating his 90th birthday with a special meet and greet in there special bday attire❤
I dont know if you have already but would you be able to do a video of the differnces of right and wrong things to do in the parks you visit vs the American parks? Ive alwaysi wondered if there are big differences inside the park as i know there are outside. I hope that question made sense lol. I love your videos and have been binge watching them
would love to see a plant-based video of all the things you can eat at Tokyo Disneyland and sea what vegan options is available. that would be great thanks for your videos
super specific question but are you using the wide angle lens for your pocket 3 or just tripod-ing and standing further away cos you get some insane wide shots!
Chris, its ok... because of you i bought apple tea soda from amazon/some japanese retailer and had it shipped to the us. It was the one apparently closest to whats in the park bevauae my kids HAD to try it after hearing you talk about it
I really don't get why this ain't a thing in Disney Paris. Donald is the most popular character in whole western and northern Europe. They can do so intensely well. Still... they ignore the parks.
lol while looking at the merch all I heard was the gwagwa sounds from the sound sticks...mocking me for not being able to purchase it unless I pay crazy amounts on ebay
I completely understand wanting to blur up-close faces of young children. But when literally half the shot is blurred, I think it’s really detrimental to the video. Mentioning the decorations looking great in the middle and then blurring so much of the shot doesn’t give your viewers a full sense of the decor and layout of the parks. They’re gorgeous and deserve to be seen unobstructed.
