You know there's many types of ppls, there's guitars collectors, and gear collector, pedal lovers, and snobs, and then there's guitar players who just love to play and are happy with there sound, some are not on the everlasting journey of sonic perfection because it's subjective. Then there's the ultra rare blend of both, the one's so successful that they have more guitars than guitar center walls and amps than greatful dead. I think it's better to be pickier about the gigs you play than just playing to play out. I think if your good enough then ppl will talk about it, and find you. If you play a ton of gigs the music will get listened out and will start becoming stale. You need to hav creative breaks, and practice rehearsals are just as important, so there is a balance to it all. I hope you find your mojo again bro, sometimes you need inspiration by listening to others and a kick in the ass
