Camera defense is quite an effective opening for procrastinating miniatures. As you can see, it clearly take the player some time to deal with this. Also I wish Bf6 before resigning could be explained, isn't such a simple line.
Everyone else: well since there are so many problems with the camera and the speakers in the video and it's only 3 minutes in I'll just restart the video... Agadmator:
Hey Agad I think your camera zooms in when you move your fingers within its viewing range. I observed this in this video and did observe that in one another one before. Perhaps something to do with recalibrating background-foreground.
@2:48 "Sorry about that." This is an ongoing gag by our host? It seems like in every-other video he says "Sorry about that", leans over and performs a mystery process, and never says what he did, or what it is that he is sorry about. Anyone know what he is doing when he leans over?
Paul Charles Morphy is dead! Ok? Dead! Gone! For a long time now. Therefive, thoust are in breach of the thirteenth commandment: Death shall have no dominion. For only the dark side lies at the end of wishing happy birthday to a dead person. Miss them do not. Mourn them do not. Celebrate them do. Remember them do. Honor them by recognizing both merits and faults do. Otherwise, yes an easy move to find but had some trouble working out the continuations. Daniel should have went crazy and taken the h pawn with the bishop, when his queen was getting boxed, giving up the bishop for two pawns, queen mobility and a somewhat exposed white king
I watch all the videos, thumbed up maybe half of them, but the camera stuff and the way he casually deals with it is way too natural to not earn another instant thumb up
Dear Agadmator, i wonder what is disturbing you always when you bend down your chair and try to fix something. You make this almost every video I have seen in the last years, and you always say "Sorry about that!" So, please, tell us: What are you doing down there? Thanks for an answer! Your chess fan Torsten from Germany
I read that a BBC docudrama on Michael Adams is in the works staring Richard Gere as Adams. Although Gere is a bit older than Adams, he does share a rough facial resemblance to Adams. And with the right stage makeup, I think he can pull it off quite well. I can't wait to see it!
But what to call it? Hmm.... "The Double (Sacrifice)" "An Chess Player and a Gentleman" "Runaway Pawn" "American Gigachess" "Second Knight" "Shall We Horse Around?" "Chess-cago" "Final Engine Analysis" "Move 43"
I loook forward to your next session playing rapid on lichess, as I still wanna see the analysis from those games. You played like morphy himself in them!
Antonio i have suggested some games to you from the soussse zonal international 1967 in the previous videos. If possible please show those. They feature great openings. 😢 #suggestion
Against the french defense I play f4, la bourdannais variation. I didn't know anything about the french defense when I first played against it, but now I only have one line that I have ever played. I know it well but nothing else in the French...
I found the combo at the end, but I thought capturing the rook first was better so black doesn't have the chance to initiate the capture himself and avoid a fork. Now when the knight takes the bishop it's winning the queen.
